Plead to Their Good Nature - Who did you pick?
So who did you pick out of the group to appeal to their good nature when they were deciding what to do with Clem? And what did you say to them?
I picked Carlos since he was the only one not arguing with everyone else, and I picked "You're a doctor, right? You're suppose to help people!" I was REALLY surprised to see his face drop, almost implying that I struck a cord with him. Possible backstory? Maybe he tried saving someone but failed? Maybe I caught him in a lie through Clem's naive trust and desperation? I'm really curious as to how that's going to play out.
What about you? Who did you pick and what did you say to them?

What did you say to Luke and how did he react?
I picked Luke. Even though he got hostile to Clem initially, I thought he was trustworthy and kindhearted enough to help. He had no reason whatsoever to save Clementine from the Lurkers.
He's really the only one I can trust other than Pete. And I'll be cutting of his leg in the next episode, from how things look.
Pete seemed to be the leader so I gave him the puppy dog eyes.
i picked the doctor, because he was working on me and if i maybe beg him enough he can tell the group im ok...so i thought. Now i realize he is a huge dick protecting his autistic daughter
Alvin, for some reason. I just wanted him to do something. He didn't do much.
I thought about going with Alvin but I figured his mean ass wife would have something to say. So decided to give some sad eyes to my buddy Luke.
What did you say to Luke and what was his reaction? Or did you pick the same thing musdy did?
Did he break? LOL I never picked the "Sad Eyes" option, so I'm wondering if it works on anyone or not.

I picked Pete and told him not to do something he'd regret. Why not appeal to the guy who's talking about sawing your arm off?

Carlos, I chose the sad eyes option. All he did was grin at me.
I used the option "You look smart", but I don't remember his reaction. Recorded the gameplay though (in case I want to re-watch this traumatic story), so I can go back and check.
He gave me a juice box... on my second playthough at least...[Smile]

If you do them on Pete he says "Look, the girl weighs about as much as a sack of flower. If worst comes to worst, we can take her." Or something like that.

Pete as he was on my side but advocating removing my arm. I've done it with most if them and it seems Luke, Pete or Nick is the best. ALvin and Carlos dont speak up and Rebecca just goes "girl you nothing to me"
I picked Carlos saying "You're a doctor right?"

Same here. I thought he would try a little harder to convince the others on my behalf. I gave him my sad eyes. Maybe I should have appealed to Rebecca and get her off my back early.
Alvin, because he seemed like the guy who would be easiest to get on my side. I said "you look smart". He was wearing glasses, so he has to be smart, right? Didn't know he was such a pushover.
Seriously? I guess Rebecca has nothing good in her until Episode 3, going by the slides.
Alvin. I figured that Luke and Pete were already on my side. Though Pete WAS talking about sawing off my arm, I thought that if I could convince someone else to NOT do that, he'd be swayed, simultaneously giving me another supporter AND my arm. Not sure why I picked Alvin, he just seemed like a cool guy, and as I said before, I knew Pete and Luke were already with me.

figured it out, before sneaking under the house, go knock on the window in the front of the house (where you can see alvin and rebecca)
I think Alvin might be the "right" choice here. I get that there isn't a right/wrong but I think it opens up the most gameplay and positive outcomes for clem. Plus I think that window conversation with Alvin and the Juicebox will help you later. You might have started some trust there.
I saw a walkthru that featured that scene. I missed it because I went the OTHER way around the house and found the plank of wood first.
I chose Pete? (the old guy who later gets bit), my 2nd brother chose Alvin, and my third chose Carlos. 2nd brother got the juice box, third brother said that Carlos forgave Clementine when she apologized for getting Carlos' daughter to help.
I also appealed to Pete and told him not to do something he'd regret. It just made sense since Luke was already on my side and the rest of them were assholes. Pete is levelheaded. It was a good point that even if Clem was bitten they could easily kill her; it's not a Larry situation.

I appealed to Carlos though I can't exactly remember what it was I said, but I figured that as a doctor he'd have been the most rational of the group for Clem to reason with.
