A Season 2 Theory [Possible Spoilers]
Let me start this by apologizing, I know these type of threads is like the most boring kind of threads ever and a majority of them can be really freaking out the loop (I am not an exception in anyway). But if you do not mind me just rambling on about what I believe, I'd really appreciate if you could call me out on my bullcrap or share your thoughts. I've tried to mark out the points I want to bring forward or think is important in bold and tagged my post as a spoiler in case someone has something to contribute with that could be considered as such. If the bold text makes the post annoying to follow, please tell me and I will remove them.
First off, looking at a map of America I tried to find where this Wellington is. I found several, one in Kansas, one in Florida and one in Ohio. Of course those are probably just a few of them. But what really caught my attention was the one in Ohio. When looking at the relation between these cities and Savannah on a compass I noticed that the one in Kansas was to the west. Clearly they're not going there. Florida is definitely to the south east. But the one in Ohio interested me. I found it was actually almost directly North of Savannah.
But that is not the most interesting part. To get there they will have to pass through a bigger city, but I am unsure which of it is between Atlanta, Augusta and Columbia. So what would you call a place that is no longer habitable or in general is in a bad shape? A ruin. This brings me to the Episode 4 slide that some people are worried about. It's not warpaint or anything similar. It's walker blood. Though I do not really get why they would make the slide so "dark". Anyway, how did Clem get out of Savannah? Lee smeared a walker's blood all over Clem and the result was the walkers leaving them alone.
So my theory is that at some point the current group will leave the cabin, most likely in Episode 2 as seen in the preview. Clem suggests that they go North because that's where she and Christa was going. By Episode 4 they have actually reached one of the cities I mentioned earlier and as a result Clem remembers that when Lee covered her in the blood of a walker they ignored them. Episode 5 is then about how they get out of Georgia and eventually reach Wellington in Ohio.
Then it ends with a fairy tale ending that shows us how "Everything is going to be okay"... That was a joke.

You make some very interesting points, you got me at the Ohio part. If you take a look at Episode 5 slide, it shows a skeleton and a big city in the background.
I'd like to add something to your theory, my guess is that during or during the end of episode 2 and in episode 3 we'll get to start seeing the definitive shape of the group. A mix of 400 Days characters& Season 2 characters & perhaps some season 1 leftover (Kenny, Lilly, Christa).
But.... this makes no sense in my story, Lee told Clem to avoid big cities. Now why would Clem suddenly think it to be a good idea to go to a city anyway? It makes no sense. if anything, Clem knows a big city cost Lee's death and many others.
Unless... Clem has not a lot ot say in the group.
Hmm.. That part about Lee is very true and I had forgotten about it, but what if the rest of the group simply thought going around whichever City they encounter would take too long? The possibility of them simply not listening to Clem or her being outvoted is also another possibility.
Which will mean that Christa will be dead by then. Since she's the only one left alive that knows how dangerous big cities are (apart from Clem).
Just seems logical if you put it like that.
I like your theory and thinks it's plausible, but one thing ain't right. Christa and Clem already left Georgia and were in North Carolina, so my guess is, the big city could be Columbus, Ohio and by this almost at the end of their journey.
One is in Florida... interesting... and Didn't Kenny say he was from Florida?
I don't think it's a stretch to think that Clem would want to continue north like she and Christa planned. There was some talk about how Wellington was safe when it was cold because the walkers all froze... that doesn't quite sound like Ohio to me... I mean, sure they get snow in the winter, but so do a hundred other cities in that area. It's also possible this Wellington is just a made up city name that's "somewhere" up north. Although they've kept the settings realistic to this point if I'm not mistaken. Hell, it could be in Canada too for all I know. But wherever it is I don't think it's reaching too much that Clem would suggest/want to head there, if only because that's where she could logically assume Christa, if she's still alive, would be headed.
there are some Wellingtons in eastern Canada but just like in Ohio it's only cold and snowy in the winter
Hmm... I totally forgot about that. You're right though, it seems like they'd be pretty close to the end. So having Christa say "It's going to be a long couple of months" makes no sense. Unless what she was referring to was the weather.
They'll get to Wellington by episode 3 if you're correct and then episode 4 is us watching Wellington crumble slowly
yeah the "couple of months" seem odd. and also that during 16 months they just went from Savannah to North Carolina
I don't think there is any evidence either prior to or from either the show or comics that suggests TellTale is actually following the map exactly geographically. I don't think their location will be a huge priority to discuss. Also Christa said it snows in Wellington where ever that is. Im from NY but pretty sure it doesn't get TOO cold or snow a lot down south.
Fair enough. But what is the possibility they don't really intended for it to be permanent? Like getting there so they get a chance to get a break from the lurkers. That'd mean they'd have the possibility to make a Season 3 if they so desire about the zombies returning and you have to get somewhere safe... Again?
Well we do know that we're going to get someplace snowy in later episodes- initially it looks like we're going up into the mountains but later on, if the slide cards are to be believed, it looks more like a town or small city. Hard to say what it is or where it is just yet but we know the group is going to be on the move soon. Just have to wait and see where they're intending to go.
Well the beginning of the ep prior to the Omid situation is still at least a few months after the end of season 1, then it jumps forward again. So who knows how far they already made it in nearly 2 years of travel. Even on foot and going through woods they could be anywhere. Also towns start to be named things like the Alexandria Safe Zone, so it could just be a city founded post apocalypse. And season 1 jumped forward a few months between taking the Motor Inn and the farm, so we are looking at 2.5 plus years into the apocalypse by this point.
