What happened to Pete/Nick?

In the episode 2 teaser Nick/Pete are not shown along with the rest of the group maybe they die trying to get back to the cabin?

    Well if you saved pete, then you see that nick ran into the woods and therefore may still be alive and return in a later episode. Pete will however have to cut off his leg.
    If you saved nick, then pete is dead...

    I know but in the teaser they are seen drinking/looking at a saw

    Then when the guy knocks in the door Nick or Pete are not seen with the group

    Yeah it is kinda odd. Just watched the teaser and Nick was only in the beginning drinking. But threw the rest of the whole thing you see everyone else but him. The episode is called "A house Divided" so maybe he gets into with the group and splits.
