The Dog (Minor Spoilers)

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

When you were faced with the choice between killing it or leaving it to die, what did you choose, and why.

I killed it because it deserved it. It was cool until it bit Clem's arm. Mess with Clem you die a painful death.

  • At first I wanted to let it die slowly for attacking. But then I saw it in pain and was pretty much thinking ''dumb animal was hungry and only wanted to survive - might as well let go of the grudge and end its suffering''. So I killed it.

I chose the option to kill it. It was a mercy kill and felt like the right thing to do, nothing more. I had no ill thoughts about the dog even after it attacked Clem. It's wan animal, a hungry stray animal that had been away from any human contact for too long. It's not suprising it attacked her in that condition, it was just instinct, it's not a smart move to take the meal of a dog while it's still eating it. There was no way Clem would know that though, so both of them were victims I think.

  • I didnt think it deserved it. It had been starving for days or even weeks. It didnt attack Clem out of anything personal. It was just being a dog and I didnt want it to suffer so I put it down. I figured my Clem would understand that and have no hate in her heart for it.

  • It was a dog, obviously it was going to jump at Clem as it hasn't eaten is a long time, probably. So I don't blame the dog for doing what it did.
