Walking dead season 2 episode 1 review /toughts
Hello tought this thread could sum up everyone's feelings for the first episode , here's what i think :
It's a good first episode altough with some flaws along with unable to find save issues i experienced on the ps3 (wich telltale did fix by releasing a patch ).The episode had some good moments and it made me cry but it's not a master piece , some of the choices were a no brainer and were obvious ( that reflects in the stats ) and there's no major plot like in season 1 ( finding clems parents)
That aside i enjoyed the gory adventure that was the first episode of season 2 . This episode alone doens't mean much in terms of story but with the upcoming episodes i think that will change

About there not being any sort of overall story set up, I think the point of this episode was to bridge the gap between the first season and get Clem into this new group. That has now been accomplished so I'm sure we will see more cohesive story from here on out.
Also, I never thought that finding Clem's parents was a major story point in the first season. I always assumed they were dead from the very beginning. As Lee, it was never my intention to look for them so that didn't drive my story.
I liked the episode apart from the ending scene which seemed a bit farfetched... them splitting up, them not running to cross the river where clem could manage to cross and pete only having 1 bullet on him total.
I love the episode 1 but I think they focused more on the "survival" ambiance of the game. Especially on the stitching of Clem's bitten arm, that is very bothering to play.
yeah the part where clemntine stiches her arm is huu... disturbing i norally don' find alot of thinks disturbing
Yeah, me too, being a fan of survival horror games but this scene, it's too painful to watch. Seeing the girl you've protected the whole Season 1 handles things like this.. Ugh..
