Who do you think in the "Cabin Group" is next to go?

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

Just wondering who everyone thinks is going to be the next person out of the new group to die? (I say next because I'm sure Pete is going to die if you picked him in Episode 1)

My guess is Alvin, because he just doesn't seem to have what it take to survive the Zombie Apocalypse. A little soon to make that judgement on him but like I said he's just my guess.

  • I agree about Alvin he is a scaredy-cat lol

Maybe Carlos also he is unimportant

  • Well I'd like to point out that everyone you meet in this has been surviving for over 2 years. So Alvin has to have something that's gotten him this far, I mean we barely know the guy. He could be a stone cold killer for all we know.

  • That something would probably be his group

  • Ill have to say Nick. After Pete presumably dies, I think he losses it. Does something stupid like the rest of the group has told Clem that he's been known to do.

  • Alvin (most likely)

    Carlos

    Luke

    Sarah

    Rebbecca

  • No one else dies and everyone goes off into an epic fairy wonderland and skips around in flowers.

    I mean, OBVIOUSLY.

  • I think Alvin and Rebekah are safe for the next episode just so my threat towards Rebekah has some weight behind it.

My guess is Carlos is next, him being alive does not add as much drama as him being dead and Sarah starts getting exposed to the ZA does.

  • I think Alvin

  • Definitely agree, especially with the silhouette of the pregnant woman on the Ep. 3 card. Gotta keep her around so she can continue being a terrible person. :D

Sarah. Though... probably Pete, because I saved him.

  • That's a good point about Carlos and Sarah. Got me thinking now. I thought he might be around a little longer just to see how his relationship with his daughter and Clem unfolds.

If the mean chick has the baby next episode I think it will cause Alvin to go out on a limb to save it (if his) or will cause him to snap and do something dumb that gets him killed (if it's not)

  • Or he's a pro sniper who stays behind to guard the cabin.

  • I too was thinking Alvin but for all we know Everyone might surive Episode 2 that would be a change pf pace but I do agree either Alvin or Carlos is going to die. I can see Rebecca dieing in Episode 3 giving birth probably like a certain someone in the Tv Show. I think Episode 3 will yet again be another turning point and it might be where the 400 Days casts comes in or near the end of episode 2 because I doubt they'll introduce them really late.

  • have a feeling it could be Luke. He's Clem's new guardian/father-figure, and he is a great moral character. If he goes, for whatever reason and with Pete very much gone, there's no real leaders left or people that would be much help in a fight. I think that Nick might top himself or go it alone. That leaves the couple and Carlos and his daughter. Carlos won't want to ever leave his daughter for any time and the couple would slow down the group. Definitely think one of them will go.

  • I hope it's Rebecca. From the preview she said, "I can't go on." - meaning she's about ready to give birth and while giving birth, she's vulnerable to any zombies possibly approaching.

  • clem dont have no new father figure. no one will replace lee. why is it so hard for you people to under that

  • Yes she can she's 10 years old, why can't you understand that?

  • Na, she's in the slide for episode 3. She'll probably be walker lunch then.

  • i hope we can leave the group and join the other because vince was my favorite character in 400 days and there might be someone in that group who we can trust

  • Alvin. He doesn't really have any definable character traits yet. He's fodder at this point.

  • He's like Lee personality-wise except without a leadership attitude. People are just saying he's too "afraid" because the wife yells at him & he doesn't do nothing. Who knows. It's just the first episode, let's see his true trait after this one.

    I'm going to guess Alvin

  • It better not be luke <3

  • Either Nick or Sarah. The "Pete or Nick" decision was just another variant of the "Doug or Carley" decision. Since Pete can determinately die at the end of episode 1, it would make sense for Nick to die soon in episode 2. Telltale won't write a story more for one character over the other.

Regarding Sarah, her disability will cause her to be a danger towards the group, and ultimately a liability. Considering the group is going to the mountains, my guess is that Sarah dies on the way, or they leave behind Carlos and Sarah at the cabin. I'm guessing whenever Sarah dies, it'll be before we meet Becca.

  • I'd say Rebecca would be next(depending on how far along she is in pregnancy, since that whole ordeal will happen first), and if Rebecca doesn't give birth, then Sarah/Carlos. I see a situation where Sarah needs your help/wants you to do something, and you don't want to and she gets killed from it or you help and Carlos dies trying to kill Clem or rescuing Sarah from the situation they get in.

  • I think Nick will survive regardless, but Pete is a determinant. So you either lose a character now or later, with a leg or without one. It'd be an interesting twist instead of saving one or the other.

Seeing how both Nick and Pete are nowhere to be seen in the rest of episode 2's trailer after their scene with Clem, it's safe to say their days are probably numbered.

I was hoping Rebecca would be next for the chop - after she's given birth, of course. I don't like the woman, but I've got no beef with the baby. Unfortunately the slide from episode 3 shows she'll survive up to that point, so...damn.

If I were to guess, I'd say Luke or Carlos. Luke, because he seems dangerously high-strung to me, and Carlos because his overprotective attitude is awfully similar to the Stranger's. We all know how THAT turned out for him.

  • what I mean by that is Luke is a character who will look out for Clementine and build a strong guardian-like bond with her. He won't replace Lee, but have a positive impact on her, since we've already seen that he cares about her and wants to look after her. If not like a father, then probably like an older brother, since it makes sense to usher in another carer for Clementine until he dies or she's ready to go alone. Given the bond it looks like they will build, I'm guessing he's not gonna be around when Episode 5 is released

clem dont have no new father figure. no one will replace lee. why is it so hard for you people to under that

  • Maybe Alvin (though I really hope not). Carlos is also very likely to go, enabling Sarah to develop more.

  • if they do thats a disrespect to lee. also bad writing. to repeat the same story again

I have a feeling that either Pete or Nick could potentially end up dying next, depending on a few things. I mean, if Pete does in fact survive losing his leg then something tells me he'd be wanting some recovery time in another room, whilst Nick could either wind up being injured as well OR could end up getting killed in the process of trying to help an injured Pete escape, or alternatively if Pete doesn't lose his leg he could end up getting himself killed in order to save Nick since he'd be dead already.

  • I think Nick or Alvin.

In the episode 2 trailer when they're gathered around the table talking about the person who knocked on the door(Carver) and we don't see Nick OR Pete. So I think Nick dies because he's drunk or something like that. Nick's fate is unknown if you save Pete so maybe his fate will be unknown again if Clem has to leave him.

  • I honestly don't think Clem needs a new "father figure" I think she can do well without having somebody look out for her all the time.

I wouldn't hope any kid was an orphan. Even if I dislike Rebecca. Carlos doesn't act like the Stranger to me
