Ask the Community: Is Clem Tale Tell's Version of Carl from TWD Series and Comics?
Clem and Carl seem pretty much the same here's why:
1. They both have parents who was stranded somewhere in Georgia
2. Both seen and witnessed horrible things in the zombie world
3. Both grew up young and influenced by what others did
4. Both had someone there to teach them how to survive and shoot
5. Both grew from being kid's to young adults
6. Now both of them have to live their life based on what others taught them
7. They both lost important people in their life
Now this is why I feel Clem will not die in this game. Sooner or later she will grow up, and lead her own group. Maybe in the future she will meet up with Rick's group.

Some people are just trolls. I agree with most of the points, but I don't think we will ever meet anyone from tv show or the comics. It kinda backfired on TTG with the Lilly situation before.
NO she isn't. Carl is an asshole kid who thinks he is sooooo amazing at surviving. Clementine on the other hand has actually developed into someone who has real tactics for surviving.
Don't worry about the dislikes, they happen.
I think it's too early to tell honestly, I certainly hope not, but that's just my opinion, which also includes a seething hatred for carl, for some weird reason.
I dunno how long telltale is going to milk this cash cow so who knows if we get to see Clem grow that old, or if she's even the protagonist in future seasons.
About meeting rick's group. You can axe that right now, it's not gonna happen. Last time Tt tried to include a character from the comics they had to cover their asses because Kirkman can change what he wants, when he wants.
I think they should just stick to original characters and keep making entertainment that's better then the drivel that fat, bearded, douche is currently dishing out.

The only difference is i care about clem and dont really give a shit about carl.. Still i watch the tv show every week.. Never thought about ricks group in the game but i think it would be too hard for it to correspond with the tv show still going.
Carl is a badass psychopath in the comics and a little punk in the tv show, Clementine have nothing in common with him.
It's because most people love Clem and hate Carl. So you are getting into the Danger Zone when comparing them
Yes and no. Yes, in the fact that they are both 'immortal' in their own mediums, but I somewhat disagree that Clem has hardened to the exact point where comic Carl's personality shows. What I'm worried about is that regardless of our choices, Telltale will turn Clem into a brutal survivor void of morality and ultimately lose any remaining innocence that she has, just like comic Carl.
Clem's the opposite of Carl.
He needs to stay in the house.
She breaks into it.
Clem is starting to get like carl if you play her that way (comic)
Oh and they will NEVER meet up with Rick's group. There in a pretty different place at this timeline and even if there not following the comic anymore it would be bringing in a group of people we've already met before.
