Why did TT have to make Rebecca like Lori from the Walking Dead?

Rebecca seems like the Lori version of TWD. They both are kind of sassy, attitude issues, concerned, and will we have another Lori situation? According to episode Three it looks like Clem has to perform surgery on Rebecca. And yes I'm ready for dislikes and mean comments again lol.

    racism -puts on sarcasm sign

  • Not really, Lori is a nice enough person to most people (yes she's really annoying). Rebecca is mean to everyone (so far anyway).

There just both pregnant but apart from that not really alike

  • Don't like that lady so far, if she keeps it up next episode it's going to be the introduction of "The version of Clementine that pushes pregnant women down the stairs"

  • I don't really see much of a connection between the two other than having supposed love triangles and the fact that they are pregnant. Lori had to deal with the fact that she had a son who was quickly becoming a victim of the apocalypse, all the while dealing with love interests between Rick and Shane. Rebecca doesn't have child yet. She openly advocates to have Clem stay away from the group when she was introduced. If it was Lori, she'd be one of the few in the group to sit down with the leader and have a talk about what she thinks is right.

Despite how annoying she is, I wouldn't see Lori wanting Clem out of the group as much as Rebecca. Furthermore, she'd be the one to suggest to the others to let a child like her stay in the group.

At first glance, the two might seem incoherently similar, but in retrospect, they have conflicting personalities, no matter how annoying both are.

  • She's nothing like Lori, book or show.
