Clementine as the lead character
now that we have played the game a bit with Clementine as the lead character, i thought it would be good to discuss what it has been like and what it may be like in the future playing as clementine.
i saw this video discussing it, and i thought it brings up a lot of good points about how now clementine is more of a complex character, and how she is aware of how she can impact the thoughts and actions of people around her:

I think it will be very interesting. Manipulation or appealing to people in the group will certainly be a dynamic and a weapon for her. Not manipulation in a bad way, the kind of manipulation where a kid convinces someone to let them have a toy or protect them. The good kind. Clem also has learned her lesson about leaving weapons unattended hasn't she?
i think it is very hard to say whether any kind of manipulation is a good or bad thing, it can often be a grey area, you could say that manipulation of any kind is always bad or you could say it depends on the situation, but either way it will be a moral conundrum
Exactly! I feel it is a realistic weapon for her arsenal of survival tools. She certainly can't use intimidation like Lee could. She can use her wits and a number of other useful skills. But we saw them bring that tool into the fore with the scene where she tries to appeal to the group members. Clem can be sneaky and fast which are good skills to have as well. But influencing people is going to be very useful as a tool for survival for an eleven year old girl. The fact that it does incur moral repercussions makes it all the more intriguing and enticing in the wait to see what unfolds from it.
"manipulation" is going to be her main weapon for survivale, As Lee we were taking care of Clem now we must choose people/person who would take care of Clem. You cant survive alone in the walking dead world.
