I really think she will be fine. They will find ways to make the people around her die in horrible and sad ways but she will survive.. to be even more scarred and serious in The Walking Dead Season 3.
Trust me, She will live, at least for this season.

Making a point, that they would achieve. No one is safe -yadda, yadda- the world doesn't give a shit about her, etc. Hell, they can give her d… moreeath meaning throughout the season. Maybe a noble sacrifice, maybe what it takes to survive is not worth it, hope lost, I don't know. But we have to consider that it might happen, and we need to learn to say goodbye to her character.
Again, I sure as hell hope it does not come to that.
Im not a troll, i just wanted to understand why they killed lee, it's seemed like race but i may be wrong, no need to get upset over a chat, i never disrespected anyone here.

It would be bad for telltale to kill off clementine. I have an emotional attachment to Clementine and would suffer heart break if they killed her off. I watched her now thru season one and really enjoy playing as her for this season. Please telltale please do not kill clementine let her have a happy ending and not kill off the best character in walking dead history. I don't think my heart could survive her dying.
I will be preparing to part with Clementine at the end of this Season, though I hope she doesn't have to die. I kind of hope the writers begin to explore what it looks like to grow up in a post-apocalyptic world... Anyway... I'm actually considering the idea of making myself a Clementine stuffie so it's not so traumatic... I'm only half joking... 30/70...
Thats kind of the feeling of the comics after a while as well. Kirkman's said he's got up to issue 200 planned, but we're just a little over the 100 mark and its just draining, tho not quite as bad as Game of Thrones in the pointless to continue agenda.
I do not think they will kill her. She is not a tragic character. Lee on the other hand showed all the classic signs of tragedy and redemption. I do not think that is Clem's story.
I don't think so. there's a difference between(I know it must sound a little cliched now to begin that way) doing every awesome thing possible with a character people like from a narrative perspective before having to let them go, and stapling them into a game to add a whole lot of flavor with no substance.
Personally I don't think there's a whole lot they can do with her after a possible 3rd season. At some point people are going to think, "oh look, it's Clementine. As cool as I remember her(not)." The point where a character is shoe-horned in just to be there is when they become a cash cow. It'd be easy to tell from whatever explanation they have for putting them in there and whatever they might(possibly) have to do with the narrative, when their involvement ceases to be new or creative.
I believe clem is a cash cow for telltale. like rick is for the comics and show. and that dont mean they are better then others just have alot of hype.
clementine's character was made by TellTale to act as the moral compass in the first season, and now a badass protagonist that EVERYONE loves and wants to be safe. I'm guessing that because of this there'll be loads of close shaves and she will be forced to step up, but not die yet. Really want a 3rd/4th Season to explore her in her late teens and adulthood when her innocence might be gone.
Rabid dogs don't play frisbee, nor do they need a reason to attack. The dog only attacked her when he realized she had food, and he was starving. I think Clementine is safe from rabies.
I see Clem being more like Carl, in that growing up in this world will make her hard, but eventually a leader. You first see Carl as this little kid who is just happy to have his dad back, then he turns into one of the most dangerous zombie killers, and even in both the show and the comic one of the most rational and cold killers of people too. When it has to be done he does it, even if it is another child. I think Clem will go that way. I hope they make more seasons. I really do and if this stays a cash cow they probably will.
I am preparing myself mentally, yeah. If killing Lee was a natural move to pull, killing Clementine is a must. The effects of her death would … morebe tremendous due to out time as her caretaker and as herself during this season. I don't want it to happen, but I know it can. That's part of the brilliance of the IP; nothing is certain.
Yea on Wikipedia, it said that Clementine is African American and @MichonneisClem calm down like seriously!your getting way too carried away! Nobody is being racist and you look like you can use a dictionary meaning of racism! How old are you!?
OMG!! THEY DIDN'T KILL LEE BECAUSE HE IS BLACK!!!TELLTALE EVEN SAID IF WE WANTED TO PLAY AS CLEMENTIN, THEY NEED TO END HIS STORY AND START HERS! AND SHE NEEDED TO USE WHAT HE TAUGHT HER! SHEESH WHY DID THEY KILL OMID THEN? BECAUSE THEY ARE RACIST? JUST STOP AND DON'T COME HERE TO ASK OR COMPLAIN ABOUT RACISM! THAT SHOULD BE SAID TO TELLTALE IF IT BOTHERS YOU THAT MUCH OR GO TO DICTIONARY.COM FOR THE MEANING OF RACIST! THE GAME IS FINISHED AND WHAT IS DONE IS DONE AND WE CANT CHANGE THE GAME AND I LIKE IT THE WAY IT IS

She is the icon of the series. It's like killing off Carl and Rick or Daryl in the comics/TV series. People will riot and they will lose money most likely.
because i hate racism. when i see it i call it out. i love the game and pre order the full season 2. why did lee have to play that role, why couldn't kenny play that role
Fan-fic is not the same thing... at least for me. It's one thing to know that the original story is going the way you want it to go and a whole other for it to go the opposite way and to try to make up a fake story based on the true story...
I think it should happen only if you weren't a good enough caretaker as Lee (Making bad choices, telling her bad things, etc. however it would also count choices which made Clementine sad, or choices that didn't benefit well) - So if you thought you were a good caretaker then those who witness Clementine die because of their bad choices would be saddened because they knew it was their fault. It should also count for bad choices made by Clementine in season two.
If you were a good enough caretaker and made some good enough choices for Clementine in season two, she should survive.

I don't care how much shock value and tears it causes, killing Clem would be a terrible mistake on TTGs part. I don't think they are stupid enough to make her the only thing that matters for two seasons (don't kid yourself, Lee was only there for Clem) just to kill her off at the end. Especially since they killed off Lee in the exact same way at the end of S1.
Kenny played a different role. Nearly every character in the entire game died, Lee isn't special just because he's black. Heck, they may have made the main character black to AVOID racist comments. I have no problems with it, I like Lee's character and I don't care about his skin color, or Clementine's. It's not racism, it's plot.

Killing Clem would be meaningless.First of all they need to create an appropriate death scene for her to cry on.I know just like Rick eventually he is going to die but if Clem dies that means Lee's death was insignificant .All of his struggle and sacrafice to help and teach Clem in a world gone mad was for nothing lee would have died for nothing.OF course in the Kirkman World everyone dies but a little girl seriously?
wouldn't be the first time little girls die in Kirkman's world (Sophia, first episodes' intro girl... didn't read the comics but I'm pretty sure there are sufficient examples of innocent youngsters being killed), but again... I doubt Clem's gonna see her end in this season. Most likely being irreperably scarred by some major event instead... not sure if that's better.

Oh yeah the little girl who picked the teddy bear then shot in the head.First example of a harsh and cruel world. And yeah i think experiencing shit stuff is better for us but not for Clem.

They need to have her live or at least someone from Season 1 alive to carry over to Season 3 (as im sure they will make this game). Plus Clem is too likeable. It was hard enough seeing Lee killed off

I don't see what killing her would accomplish. Season 1 was all about us (as Lee) preparing Clementine as best we could for life in this new, bleak world. Season 2 is about Clementine, well... surviving, with the things we did in Season 1 leaving a big mark on who she is now and helping her to get by.
If Season 2 is the end of her story there's absolutely no reason for her to be killed off that wouldn't be for cheap shock value. I'm sure the writers at Telltale aren't that stupid.
I really hope this isn't the end of her story and that it continues into Season 3, but that might be wishful thinking. Perhaps there won't even be a Season 3 or maybe Telltale will decide we've seen enough of her.
I can never get enough of her though! Playing as a weak but crafty (both mentally and physically) child in an adult setting is INCREDIBLY refreshing. That it's one we're already attached to makes that even better. I want to see her grow up into a capable adult, I don't want her left with an unclear future (or worse, being killed off) as that would be bittersweet as well as a waste of a one in a million well written and well received child character.

I hope you're right, I really do.
I feel clem should dead at the end of the season and start with some new next time
I know. But you don't seem to understand the general opinion that everyone is trying to tell you. Am I wrong?
Long live Clementine!
Team Clemmy!!!

Hey, there's always Clementine fan-fic.

Yes. I AM. >:(
I understand, but don't mean they are right.
Thats what I just said.

Sorta. They're either one or the other, really.
Or maybe both. But there still exists the possibility that they're not a troll.

Indeed. The dog was just hungry and that is why it attacked. It would've attacked much sooner if it had rabbies.

I think TT will only make a season 3 if at the end of season 2 they feel it was just as profitable as season 1 or better.

We're all super glad you hate racism so much. We just wish you knew what it meant.
I want as many seasons at possible.
How can you say how many people will cry? You can't say that..

my two cents: she's bound to undergo another major emotional trauma, but I don't believe death to be at the end of this season.

I hope we get to play her for a long time. They hit the motherload with that character.
agreed, one of my favourite video game characters of all time,

Most refreshing comment I saw
