Carlos's Daughter

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

Anyone else get a creepy feeling from her?

I promised her that we would be best friends in fear that she might yell at me being an intruder, I think shes going to do something sinister in the future.

What do you guys think?

  • I'd also like to know what happens if you say "No" when she asks you to promise to be "best friends."

  • She reminds me of Betty. From Ugly Betty.

  • yeah a bit strange for her age, Clementine is 10 and the girl is 15 big age difference i was hoping for the girl to at least take care of Clementine like to help her with her arm and being like a big sister towards Clementine.

Clem is much more mentally mature than that girl i think that is what maybe scares her a bit and not really wanting to be her friend also she didn't want to help Clem with her arm or mostly didn't know how to help her, a 10 year old little girl looks up to a much older girl (teenager) but she doesn't to her. I choose to be her friend anyway because I like Clementine to be that nice girl everyone loves.

I didn't like how Carlos speaks to Clementine not to be her friend and doesn't want her talking with her it's like his protecting his teenage daughter from Clem who is only a 10 year old little girl, like wtf....

  • I don't think Sarah's dangerous or insincere, but I agree in the impression that she could have some form of mental disorder based on what her father says.

I aim to still be friends, even if that pinky swear will come back with tragic implication at some point.

I know why he keeps her away. When people have autism or aspergers, they have a hard time getting used to change. This happens to my neighbor all the time. When his dsi broke and his brother gave him his, he freaked out just because his old one was white and this one was blue. She'll probably go nuts if she found out what it was like out there, and i'm gonna go out on a limb that she'll probably get bitten. And then Carlos will become the new Katjaa.

  • She seems like an okay kid to me. I hope that I can keep being friends with her. In fact, what I'd like to see happen is Clementine doing some of her drawings with her, and if things go bad, then she'd help Sarah protect herself. If Carlos still disapproves any or all of that, then fuck him.

  • Well i didn't say no when she ask to be friends, i just pleaded the fifth and stayed quiet. Like the post said she was creepy and i didn't want Clem to get too involved with the girl in-case she do turn crazy or get killed. I guess i still want to protect Clem emotionally so keep a distance from Carlos daughter seems to be the right choice.

Besides that being said, she ended up giving Clem the Anti-biotic anyways because she didn't want to get yelled at by her dad.

Oh crap, she's 15? She looked younger than Clementine to me. That changes everything. She seems way to immature for her age, then. Not to be judgmental, but I would expect a lot of teen angst from her at this point, a lot like Nick. Hmmm, she may be cognitively different, from most, then. In fact, if she has some variant of autism, I think I can understand why Carlos is the way he is. She probably would have stronger morals than Clementine, and be more useful with teamwork, but I would agree with Carlos in that she would cease to function in the apocalyptic world. Though, I am surprised that she managed to stay sane for this long How did Carlos manage to keep her from all that bad stuff for this long? Has the group been together since the outbreak? Interesting.

  • Considering the fact that Sarah loves reading books about body snatcher aliens which is also bad stuff in the real world if aliens took over.

  • I like Sarah! I think she has a lot of potential, but may suffer from autism or Aspergers .

  • I asked the same question and the guy who replied to me said, "If you say "No" then she just gives you the medicine anyway and tells you to leave her alone."

  • Yeah. I've known people that seem to center their life around what someone else does. I'd walk to school to find them standing next to a pole just waiting for me.

The thing about Sarah is, we don't know if she's the kind of person that gets really sad, or really mad.

  • I don't remember the pinkie swear part.

  • She asks you to Pinkie Swear if you say yes to being best friends.
