Steam version better than TT version
After getting the TT version of season 2, I've noticed how much better the Steam version, given that I only have the Steam version of season 1. Other than achievements (which may not matter to some players), the steam version is normally on sale and has cloud saving. When I pre-ordered the TT version, there was a coupon for the Steam version, making it 18 dollars. As for cloud saves, seeing how some people on the forums have corrupted season 1 saves, this feature would be helpful to prevent such a thing
On the other hand, the TT version includes a special DVD version of season 2. This could be a better deal for some. However, having special DVD versions of past TT games like Sam and Max, I feel this incentive is not that big considering that it comes out after all the episodes are released.; by the time it gets released, there is no real need to get the DVD and install it since it is already on the PC.

Eh, the Steam version screwed over my save files. I never use it anymore.

Yeah, I'm going to buy their next games off of Steam next time. I got season 2 of TWD off of the TellTale site and we had to wait hours until they fixed their servers. Meanwhile, thousands of people were already playing it on Steam
Don't get me wrong, I love TellTale but they have to work on their service when it comes to releases.
How? All saves are stored at the same place, does not matter which version you use.
Got the 'black axe' screen problem with episode 2, corrupted and later messed up my saves.
But is that special to steam only though? I've never heard that before and i know that there are fixes for that problem.
I had no problems with TTG servers ( downloaded it on 15 minutes) so i think that STEAM and TTG is almost the same!
