Should Clementine continue on in more seasons?

Personally I think TWD should go for more than 2 seasons since this game is the bomb, also Clementine should stay as protagonist for more seasons too. I'd just freaking hate it if they stop her story suddenly and continue on with a whole new group, it will be too depressing for me though. I know her story must stop sometime, but I don't want it too since I love Clem. What you guys think? Leave your suggestions below, no trolls please.

  • Don't worry about it, Telltale isn't stupid.

  • They killed off Lee so...

  • The game series have always been about Clementine. Lee's only purpose was to help her get through it.

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • i can see her growing up to adult-hood. would make for an epic story or survival

  • The thing is, unless Kirkman skips time ahead in the comics, Clem won't grow up more than she is now. In the comics, a little more than two years have passed, so the game can't go further than that.

As much as I love Clem, I wouldn't want a future season with this franchise. I'd rather have this season end on a good note than continuing her storyline and milking it out like the comics.

  • I could see another season with Clementine as playable character. It really depends on what Telltale does (plot-wise) this season and if there was enough new content to do with her.
But if they had enough content, I'd enjoy more Clementine-TWD. :)

I agree with Zeruis. I think TWD game should be max three seasons. First season when you prepare Clem for the world, second season is her becoming independent and growing up, third season should be when she is around 16-18 and about finding her place with trustful people. Maybe with some man in the mountains or something like that :).

  • Clem is amazing, I would love another season with her as the main protagonist.

  • I hope Season 3 has Molly as the protagonist.

  • I want Clementine to find everyone: Molly, Kenny, (maybe) Lily. just make the group and be with people she trusts again.

  • That would be nice!

  • Yea i think it will. Maybe 4-5 seasons? I don't know. I mean i look at the comic, that's been going for a while, like more than a decade i think, and the show will have another season, so i think it'll be possible. Especially the way the sales are going.

  • If Clem dies, and some people from season 1 die in season 2 (depends if they return) and they make a new season then it wouldnt even be The Walking Dead anymore! With completely difrerent people especially without Clemy! LIKE FOR CLEMMY!!

  • I think the poor thing needs a rest. Being a Telltale protagonist these days takes a toll on you and based on the first episode, this season is going to be pretty damn rough on her. As much as I want to keep seeing her, it might be best for her to take whatever peace she can get at the end of this season and leave it at that. She's been through enough.

Something we can finally agree about. Best for Clem to simply disappear into the shadows before the writers decide to kill her off in some fashionably nasty way, i.e. Glenn from the comic book.

  • I honestly think that the game has been better than the show and the comics. I know you aren't the biggest fan of season two's writing, but it still is miles better than the comics ever were.
