Did anyone...anyone at all...actually burn...
...the photo of Lee or the drawing?
There's a log right there, for god's sakes. It not only has no sentimental value, unlike the drawing or photo, it almost certainly works better to keep a fire burning than either of those things.
Such a weird thing to even include the option of doing such a thing. I've yet to see a Let's Play in which the immediate reaction wasn't some variation of 'NO! I'm not burning the damn photo! Why the hell would you even ask me that!?'

You can't burn Lee's photo. Only the drawing of Kenny or the log.
The game doesn't actually let you burn the photo if you choose that option.
However my Clem didn't have any sentimental connection to the drawing. She never interacted that much with any of the three people on there, and Kenny killed someone in front of her. She was burning away the past and looking ahead to the future.
I read somewhere on this forum that you actually can't burn the photo. If you try, it just cuts to the scene with Christa. I did watch a YT video where they burned the drawing, though.
I agree though. A log right next to the fire? NO, MY SENTIMENTAL MOMENTOS. Great survival skills there :P
edit: ah, ninja'd.
But again, there's a log right there. What's likely to keep the fire going longer, a large piece of wood or a small drawing? Its illogical from a practical standpoint, even setting aside sentiment.
If you try burn the photo of Lee, it won't let you and just skips to the Christa cutscene. I think you can burn the Kenny drawing though and the log, obviously. It's abit unrealistic how they task you to find a log and its right next to the fire -.-
I'm shocked to find people even tried.
In that case, it could mean that Kenny's drawings can easily be replaced or updated, since Clementine can draw it again in her spare time, especially if she meets Kenny again and has another reason to draw Kenny's life.
But Lee's photo is one of the kind, it can't be replaced easily since there's possbily no other photo like it, hence why she refuses to burn it.
Yeah, that was one of a few choices in this game where I was like "...really? Who the fuck would choose that?"
Another big one was [Give Hat]. Fuck. That. To quote Jeremy Jahns in his review of the episode: "Oh bitch, you can have the backpack. NO ONE gets the hat."
It's not possible, I was just messing around after replaying the game several times to see different outcomes. It just cuts right the scene where Christa runs into those bandits. To be honest, had it not cut to the Christa scene, I doubt Clementine would have burnt the photo. She wouldn't have been able to do. She had a huge bond with Lee, no way would she burn the photo over a readily available log (even if the log wasn't an option).
Actually, burning the drawing seems to be the only way to get the fire going. If you put in the log, it doesn't burn at all, probably since its been sitting out in the rain all day.
My friend burned the drawing
I tried to burn the photo for 2 reasons
1.My first play through is an asshole.
2.Clem left Lee to turn so she would burn the photo to forget that she left her former protector to turn like that.
Photo is impossible but you can burn the drawing
I wonder what happened to both of them, did clem lose them in the river?
"NO! I'm not burning the damn photo! Why the hell would you even ask me that!?" - That was my reaction when the option came up.
I burned the log. I wanted to burn anything and everything EXCEPT for the drawing or the photo. I even took extra care to not interact with the fire until I had something else to burn.
Yeah, it felt stupid. I was expecting some kind of puzzle at the time. Like, find an item to slice open the inside of the fluffy jacket (vest?) to find and area of protected dry stuffing to set fire to.
i burned kenny draw ing because when you play season 1 she talks to ben more then kenny
As I said, symbolism.
