Idea for a dlc once this season is done.

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

Do you think Telltale would consider doing a dlc that picks up right where season 1 ended? After we finish season 2 I think it would be nice to have the time gap filled with a dlc. It obviously couldn't affect things as 400 days did, since it would be retroactive, but Id still like to see what happened up to the point where we see Clem at the beginning of all that remains.

  • Wouldn't you rather see what happened in the 16 months? I think at the very beginning of All that Remains it's only been a short while since Lee died.

  • It'd be fun and add lots more emotion to Christa and Omid in S2 too. There must be some interesting adventures in the time gap, it'd be great to play either this or as a fun nod to S1, an ep where the Motel group go to raid the Air Force base and meet Mark.

  • The Walking Dead: 800 Days

    jk.

Then again, it would be cool to see the 400 days group again if we don't see them in the main series.

  • Yes, that would be nice. Plus, we'd get to enjoy some more of Omid's jokes :')

There is a actually a "DLC" manager I found in the game's files

    also
    DLCStatus.lua

  • I don't know. While I would have liked to see more of the actual traveling with Christa and Omid at the start, it would feel a bit odd going backwards knowing how it's going to end.

  • maybe a follow up to 400:Days

  • I like this idea, more Omid and Christa would be great.

  • The Walking Dead: Chronicles where we would get to play as Lee's wife and Clem's parents to see what they were doing since season 1. Everyone wanted to know what happened to Lee's wife, so this would be a good story to answer that question. Also with Clem's parents plays as them with Clem before the outbreak and went to Savannah. After that show how her parents met up with The Stranger. I would also like to see a part in this game of what happened during the Strangers time in the outbreak. Like what happened to his family and stuff. This would also be a 5 part series. I also want to know the story of Doug, Carly, Kenny, Larry and Lilly before the outbreak. With the episodes being 2hr30Minutes instead of the usual 1hr and 30 minutes.

  • Well, it would had to have been at least 6 months when the story started in All that Remains, simply because Christa is VERY pregnant and at the end of Episode 5 she wasn't even showing, only about 2 months along since that's typically when morning sickness starts.
I would like to know what exactly became of Christa's child after it was born, but I have a feeling most of that 16 months would have been those two hiding from people and trying to find a way to Wellington undetected. I have a feeling they will at least explain what happened to the baby at some point this season, but I would still enjoy playing from the point episode 5 ended until they get to Gil's. I have always been interested in prequels myself I guess lol.

  • It's usually 2 hours. And yes, it would be nice but kind of long to do aaaaaall that in a DLC.

maybe a whole new story.about a lone motocross bike riding survivor that also heading to the north, and we can interact when he's repairing or maneuvering his bike, dodging walkers or doing awesome stunts

  • Do prequels work in TWD universe? Since you're making choices in the past, that affects your future.
