True, but i'm not sure about how much they could progress further into the story. I believe the comics are only 3 years into the apocalyps?

"I have no doubt a 3rd season and maybe even more will come. TWD is Telltale's BIGGEST series thus far. The official TWD facebook (now mind you mainly focuses on the show) has over 22 million likes and a good 15-20 thousand more each and every day even during the show's breaks. Also TWD Season 1 on Steam has 3,717 reviews (over 40,000 recommendations before the switch) that is more than all other Telltale games combined hell most games don't have anywhere near that amount (unless they are big named) Oh yeah did I forget to mention right now as I type this Season 2 has 1,127 reviews ALREADY in less than a week while Wolf Among Us has only 972. Now everybody don't take what I say to heart i'm just comparing the two franchise I like wolf ALOT but with all these sales TWD keeps having and all the profits they are getting off the media for it as a whole this series is sticking around for at least a few more seasons if not more after Season 2 bet on it.".
and yeah I think that it hasn't even reached 3 years yet in the comics. We'd be cutting it pretty close if we kept playing as Clem or following these characters.
They are based on the comics, doesn't mean they have to strictly follow them. As long as none of the characters form the comics is in the game, it's fine.
Anyways my point still stands, Clem dies = I'm not playing anymore.
Unless, they're gonna follow the TV series Seasons as well.
Killing Clem in my opinion would kill what makes the game special. One of the biggest reasons people are so invested in the game is that they feel a bond with Clem. If they killed her off they could make the game good still I don't doubt, but it wouldn't feel like the same game at least to me.
Agreed, Clem basically IS the game. They could still make it without her, but it would never be the same.
I hope Telltale manage to get more rights to the walking dead in the future and let their humour expand.
I'm probably the only one that wants to see one walking dead video game series based off the parody Robert Kirkman did for a walking Dead issue where everyone was super heros..

I'm just wondering when they switch to the next gen consoles how save imports will work. If they continue Clem's story.
Yeah in the very final season in the final episode they should kill off Clem if they do before that everyone would be pissed off because even during season 1 its all about Clem! The game has now followed the footsteps of the comic and TV show because if they kill off Clem, no one is going to buy the games anymore. In the comics if they kill Rick, no one will buy the comics anymore. And in the TV show if they kill off Daryl and/or Rick, no one will watch the show.
I can picture there being at least one more season for sure where the creativity is really good. I can then picture maybe a bit of a downhill curve as the seasons go on, and maybe by season 5 or 6 people would lose interest as the TTG ran out of new, GOOD ideas for the game.
I think that's kinda dumb, everyone said the same about Lee too but they are still around, if the new character is just decent enough i think most of us will continue to play and even more so if old faces come back.
I have to disagree here.
Clementine was introduced at the start of Season 1 Episode 1. She was the main character ever since she was first seen. I, playing as Lee, focused all my attention on her and her safety. So continuing with Clementine is just logical, since she is not "totally new" of a character. If, however, Telltale decides to kill her of and start Season 3 with a new Character, or one whe only met in Episode 5.... THAT would definitely kill the franchise for me.
I hope this is the last season. Because im sure that TellTale doesnt have more creativity. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE THIS SERIES ONLY FOR CLEM, but what would happen if they pull another Omid on us with Clem, but we all know Clem WILL die essentially, because in an apocolypse there is no happy ending
She's not THE MAIN CHARACTER but shares it with Lee, two of them.
I also agree that keeping with Clem is the best choice cause that's pretty much what this is about. The Comic is based upon Rick and his life in the ZA while this game is about Clem. KEEP CLEM WOO!
