Would you recommend..
Tales From Monkey Island?
So for Christmas I thought I'd treat myself to a game. However, I'm content with the modern day games I have atm and aren't intrested in getting a modern day game yet, so I thought I'd try an old game, or "Retro" or whatever.
Since Telltales been a pretty loyal company to me in terms of story and surprise and whatnot, I heard good things about Tales From Monkey Island and recently saw a funny gif online of it, of two skeletons dancing.
So yeah, would you recommend it? and where would I purchase it? (Live in the UK)

It isn't as difficult as the older games (so I hear, although I've never played the older games), but the overall gameplay style is the same. I found the puzzles and story enjoyable. I'd personally get it on PC through Steam or Telltale's store.
Aren't that concerned about difficulty moreso the story.
And thanks for the recommendation! I'm more swayed to get it now!
(?) Stevean2 will remember that
It's a pretty good story, though it does take a couple of episodes to really get going. But once it does... wow.
So yeah, recommended.
It has a few side references to things that happened in earlier stories in the franchise, but it won't trip you up if you don't know about them. Just don't be surprised when your character recognizes other characters you've never seen (or even contemplated seeing) before. It does have more puzzles than Telltale's newest games, things you have to figure out, and it's more like a traditional LucasArts game where you can feel free to try things that seem funny just to see what happens without being penalized for doing something "wrong."
Assuming you're willing to download, you can buy it right here. If you want it on DVD, you'll have to search for retail sources, as Telltale's store isn't currently shipping physical merchandise.
That isn't a problem. I enjoy things that go slowly.
For example in TWD, I really enjoyed the moments of peace we had at the motor in
Same as LOTOR, I enjoyed the moments of peace the fellowship had really enjoying eachother and what not.
Sounds like the game for me.
Thanks man! Would probably be easier for me to get it on steam, eh?
and thanks for the info, definitely going to get it now.
