Speculation on the anonymous silhouettes from Episode 5.

Meet the low-poly models of the phantoms from the end of the Walking Dead: episode 5. You cannot see the untextured models themselves in the game, but the developers used their shadows to create an illusion. The left man has the same character model as Doug, the deceased mechanic. Looks a bit modified to me, with the hair and all. The right man, despite looking like the Heavy on diet pills and anencephaly, utilizes Ben Paul's character model. It is possible these characters are not even the people seen on the hill; they may just be placeholders, so Christa and Omid believers, hang in there.
I'm sorry, I can't find any angles of this scene, because the image credit belongs to Hallowseve15, so I can't provide any more exact information. Not sure if this qualifies for a thread, but hey, it's worth a try. Typing this in a hurry, so I'm sorry if I missed something important.

The silhouettes are the walkers formerly known as Omid and Christa. Omid succumbed to his wound and bit Christa upon turning.

Well, that´s interesting. Still, it´s just a placeholder, so whether or not they are really the people on that hill remains to be seen.

Placeholders. The guy on the left has Doug's character model while the guy on the right has Ben's character model.

I want the two to be Omid and Christa, but it's more than likely that the two are completely new characters.

So how'd Omid get so fat?

    They are just placeholders.

I think the two silhouettes were Omid and Chista.

I also think that the two persons you saw at the end were Christa and Omid. So if these two models were used in that scene, they were probably just placeholders.

I also think they're are placeholder models but I don't understand why they did'nt just use the original models of Omid and Christa then.

They could be placeholders. It's Telltale. They could do any funny shit with us.

looks too detailed to be placeholders and if it was Omid and Christina, Clem wouldnt have hesitated to approach them.

None of us could tell who they were, if I was Clem I'd be pretty hesitant. They don't look TOO detailed. Kinda look like some of the walker models.

There's no way that Telltale has settled on who they are this early. They could be Christa/Omid, or pretty much anyone else. Could one of them be Molly? Does she die in any possible playthroughs? I really wanted her character to stick around.

Her status is unknown. In Crawford, if you don't take Clementine with you, she gets attacked by walkers. (it's the scene where Ben takes that hammer.) You can accidentally shoot her and she'll just flee from the group of walkers.

Umm, uhhh, I just wanna say that they remind me of Jasper and Horace from 101 Dalmatians:

They're both walker models. The fat one appears in the episode 4 trailer when Lee's climbing the tower and the other one I'm pretty sure is the other one is too.

This was mentioned in another thread, and a Telltale employee confirmed that they were deliberately generic placeholder models because they knew people would view them like this, and want it open for speculation.

    Edit. Here and here. :)

I say it's Christa and Omid. They are the most likely, considering that they were likely actively looking for Lee and Clem after separating at the sign.
  • Guess who was right.

  • We don't exactly know 100% who it was. Anything could have happened in those 7-8 months

  • damn man. you did some digging lol

    Guess who was right.

  • Well.... Would it be possible to use this program on the "Next time on The Walking Dead" Cutscene, to see who Clementine refers to when she says "I thought you were dead"

  • Probably not since you don't see their model in that scene.

  • somebody did on another thread already. Sorry that's all the info I can give but they did.

  • Damn, would've been cool though

  • I just assumed(and still assume) that scene has been retconned now... that, or it was Christa and Omid.
