Most are butthurt over Omid dying so fast. It's not that anything is wrong with the episode, most of the complaints are that people didn't like what happened in it. To which I say. Deal with it!
I think people are pretty entitled to their opinions.
As Kenny fans constantly say to me "Just avoid thoose people" How does it effect you?
I think my complaint is fairly legit.
A few things irked me about season 2, it took away control from the player.
If you compare it too the first episode of season 1 then you'll see that you had plenty of chances to ask them burning questions you wanted to when you noticed them.
You was never presented with this in season 2, rather you only got to know some backstory to some survivors and even then a majority of the episode was just cutscene with a few chances to make a dialouge choice.
I loved the episode none the less, but thoose things Irked me.It makes the game feel more like a movie than season 1 did.

IGN, wrote an entire article about Season 2, Ep 1. It's on the front page linked in Season 2 Release Date Discussion. I didn't hear you complaining about that, even though they only played one ep.

Noone trusted Lee in the drug store yet they where pretty happy.
There was plenty of chance for an exploration chapter when Clementine got her food. A majority of the survivors trusted her then and would be in comparison to the drug store chapter in episode 1. Everyone seemed pretty fine of answering your questions then.

Yes. It was actually.
Someone "appeared" to be bitten, the main protagonist took charge which lead to conflict and splitting group opinion in half and lead to their opinion and trust changing on the protagonist.

No it's not actually. Lee and Clem still had to go to similer lengths to prove their innocence (Or in Lee's case, Ducks)
They had to Buy time.
Infact. The cabin survivors probably had more reason to TRUST Clementine than the original group to Lee.
Clementine proved her innocence and a majority began to trust her afterwards atleast 3 againts 2
My point is, I'd of been much happier with a mini segment of walking around the cabin, being able to interact with the survivors (Something that happend 2 or 3 times in season 1 episode 1) and ask some trival or important questions.
It sucks having to wait till episode 2 or later because everything was in a rush. There was a perfect time of harmony when Clementine was eating, They could of like gave you some time to walk around and talk to people, with your objective heading to bed ready for the next day or something.

Yeah. Again. I don't hate episode 1, I love it as much as anyone, as I said, the points I presented just "irk" me and I agree, Episode 2 seems like a much more peaceful episode, it sucks having to wait a few months to get a few answers to questions that could of easily been answered in episode 1. Specially if you're me, and you like knowing as much as possible as soon as possible.
I think they would say something if he was bitten. You forget how Kenny freaked out when locked in a room with a man about to become a zombie. It's not something you can hide. I gather it takes a full day to turn. So yes. the group would tell him something or wait for him to turn then blow him away.
Exactly!! Just like how in GTA V they SPOILER killed off Johnny immediatly. Even if you dont like it you gotta deal with it. They only really did that to remind you that NOBODY is safe in the Walking Dead universe.

I'm also sure it will be in ep 2, but it should have been in ep 1. Conversation, discussion, and interaction are what this game is based on. There was very, very little of that in this episode.
Exactly, not all critics of the episode do this, but to the people who dislike the episode not because it was bad(it was far from), but because things they didn't like happened(omid dying, away from christa, killing dog, yada yada), I'll be using Uncle Pete's words here.
"I don't like them either(the things that happened), but you've got to realize a simple truth. That nobody in the TTG staff will give a damn about whether you like something or not. You gotta grow up son."
If Bioware wasn't aware that DA2 sucked. Compared to DA1. They wouldn't have made such drastic changes. Tell Tale is similar to Bioware, before they got bought out and their games hit rock bottom. Bioware never had a game that sucked till DA2. Fans voiced their opinions and now they build game on fan feedback.
I understand you like their games. Yet screaming at anyone who says anything against it. Is not the way you get better games. It's likely the way you get worse ones.
Guys you completely misunderstood me, I didn't say feedback will bring bad results. I meant stupid feedback will bring bad results. What I said was only directed to the people going "wah, you killed omid, you suck, I am not buying another game from you!"
If they listened to the fans to the extend you guys imply, they wouldn't have killed lee. And I am not saying I wanted lee dead(far from it, fav character along with clem), but you have to admit. Lee's death made episode 5 all the greater, not the opposite.
These things that we incredibly hate and wish the story could do without. they HAVE to be there. As long as they make the episodes better and more engaging they will be there.
Edit: And I never said criticism and whining are equivalent. Hell, whining is the "stupid feedback" I am referring to.

I honestly don't see what was so bad about it. I really liked the episode and can't believe how many negative posts I'm seeing.

You do know,
whining about whining.
Makes you what you hate.
I can't lie, I didn't like how Omid died, but it worked considering where the story went.
I think people are pretty entitled to their opinions.

Same here! I guess some people just get upset if the episode isn't exactly the way they expected it to be :b
yo dawg
These people don't trust Clem! Why would they tell her anything about them?
Paradox of tolerance: being intolerant towards intolerance.

Yep, those were totally the same circumstances. Lee in the drugstore and Clem in the cabin. Totally....
Yes. It was actually.

Except that "someone" Was the protagonist. Different situation.
Do you really think if they thought Lee was bitten they would tell him anything? I don't think so, same with Clem.

We are the consumer - we have a law given right to give feedback/complain. We're the ones pumping lovely money into TellTale's pockets.
This.
Feedback shapes better products.
Nor are criticism and whining always equivalent.
