it also puzzles me a bit why Telltale designed this look, she has a bit of an asian look despite her parents being obviously african-american in the family photo.
Then again; Sasha from the TV Show always reminded me a bit of an adult Clementine, maybe I'm not alone in this.
Rue from hunger games is a better pick, she look just like Clementine.
I agree i don't understand why telltale made both her parents black and not make Clementine look more black.

didn't watch the hunger games as it isn't really my cup of tea... but yes I can see the resemblance, however Sasha just fit me as the "adult celementine" more I guess.

If Telltale wants her to be black, then they have to make her look black. Clem doesn't look black at all.
She might be a racial mix, but she definitely isn't (only) black. If she is a racial mix, then she would be substantially more European, Asian, whatever than black.
Maybe Clementine is adopted? Maybe that black dude in the picture is her step father? Maybe Clementines mom had an affair with Glenn and produced Clem? Many possibilities. xD
What I am trying to say is that the picture can't be used as proof of her heritage. The only proof we have is Clem herself, and to be honest, she doesn't even look black. Neither her skin color nor her facial features. She might be a racial mix though.

there was this website that explained the story and that had quotes of what the telltale staff said! they even said that at first, they were going to make Clementine a brother and make him go on a journey with her instead of Lee, but they chose Lee. if i find it i will share it. it was interesting but anyways, yes they said it for sure

Well it doesn't really matter anyway.

Wikipedia says she is african-american and so did telltale
Really, when did Telltale say she is African-American?

Aren't you the one who wrote that killing off Lee was an act of racism? xD
i just posted the links on a fourm
look at the family photo of Clem's family and you'll see that her dad's (Ed) Black African-American and her mum( Diana) is African-American with lighter Black skin.
