400 days impact into season 2 (Leland/Roman/..)

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

Hi all,

So there are a few unclarities for me that perhaps some of you can clear up;

I missed it the first time around, however I now saw that Roman is part of the corpses that wash up during All That Remains.
After snooping around on the Wikia page, I read that Leland was likely, or it's implied atleast, to have been shot by Roman?
Also I read somewhere that one of the bodies that washed up look like Leland?
So that would mean the mysterious group that were after Bonnie and Leland were Roman's group? The one's that we have encountered in 400 days?
Or has Roman ditched/killed his other group and found another? Possibly the ones who have washed up there?

Roman was working for Carver then perhaps? (altho this is speculation on my part).
And where does Leland's group fit in, why was Roman and his group chasing them to begin with?

I don't know, still alot of vagueness for me but perhaps some of you can help me connect the dots..

Thanks

  • Yeah, Bonnie's story takes place before Shel's, and it's confirmed that it's Shel's group going after Bonnie; Stephanie, Roman and Clive at least. Presumably Shel stayed behind to guard the place/ensure Becca's safety.

so I'm guessing the reason Roman (and possibly Leland)'s corpse washing up in S02E01, and no sign of his crew, is still unclear at this point?

  • Anyone considered where Tavia's 'perfect utopia' fits in?

  • Remember Shel and Becca can escape in 400 days while choosing to shoot Stephanie .

Maybe it's the place where Clem meets the "I thought you were dead" person?

Clem's group, afraid of Carver, decides to go to there for help/safety?

Might also be the place Clem and Christa were headed to. I forget the name. They were both up north though.

  • Didn't we already know that the group chasing Dee Bonnie and Leland were Roman's group?

It's spelled out quite heavily. You see their silhouettes, they talk about stealing a bag of supplies, they have the same voices..

  • plus, when you start their episode and they are checking out the guns and flashlights there is a reference to a missing flashlights and she responds "I don't know, perhaps still in the corn field", this is to confirm that yes, Roman's group chased them in the corn field..

  • I'm sure you're right... However I missed this entirely during my playthroughs of 400 days, usually these things don't get passed me easily but somehow I completely didn't put the two and two together...

also, yes, curious on where Tavia's utopian group will fit in.

  • Or the utopia is Carver's "new group" gone wrong?
