Walking Dead/Wolf alternating schedule?
I've heard rumors from all over saying that Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us will be going on a bi-monthly rotation. Can anybody shed some light on this subject? If so, is there any way you can confirm this, and/or cite your source? Thanks.

I don't think I'll accept Smoke & Mirrors any later than January. The whole "monthly schedule" thing has been thrown out the window at this point, so I just want the episode as soon as possible.
That's how it's supposed to go. But sometimes the release dates get messed up. My guess would be Wolf Among Us in Mid January and Walking Dead in Early Feb.
I think they should release Wolf ep2 the first week of jan and at the last week of the month release Walking dead ep2
IKR. They said 4-6weeks
It's far from that by now
All I know is that on the Season Pass for Wolf Among Us it's states that "all Season Pass content will be available by Summer 2014" and the Season Pass for Walking Dead: S2 states that "all Season Pass content will be available by Fall 2014". Though I could be understanding it wrong I don't know but I agree with the whole "monthly release" thing being up in the air.
I don't think its TT's plan to do alternating monthly, but it is what is probably going to happen. At least the average will probably be something like that. Personally, I really like the idea.
Games are supposed to be released in the 4-6 weeks, but let's face it, TT is terrible at predicting release dates.
Yep. Remember last Season of Walking Dead? I remember the flame wars about that.
I wish I didn't know about s2 til it was completely out. Im too obsessed w this game for my own good
Yea I think it's fair to say that a lot of Telltale fans wish all the games came out with the full package rather than monthly release since (as stated above) TT doesn't have a good a tracking record that.
I wish since they have their heart set on the whole episodic thing that they would have the other episodes at least almost finished (or just need finishing touches) before they release e1. but I personally think they love the 2 months of feedback and attention between episodes.
I guess. I remember the feedbacks from last Season were ranged from "Oh my God, I like the story, can't wait for the next episode etc." to "What the f-ck I thought they said episode per month" and flames wars ensued. Luckily this hasn't happened...yet.
oh it will, trust me. Look at the wolf forums they're starting to get there already... is Ben Paul your brother cause he was a screw up XD
Yes, the Wolf forums are pretty bad. I'm ashamed to say I partake in some of those conversations. Regardless, I really enjoy the episodic game system for a few reasons. As time passes to the next episode, you begin to crave for more of whatever game you're playing, making you return and play again, giving the game a mot more longevity. Also, it gives you a chance to speculate and theorize, whether you're right or wrong - it doesn't matter, because you'll know in a few weeks. And of course, you get attached to characters the more you reflect on your journey thus far, making it a lot easier for Telltale to hit you where it hurts.
I hope that TWAU fans get what they've been waiting for for three months, but deep down I selfishly want TWD to be prioritised.
As a fan of both Wolf and Walking Dead, I can assure you that if Telltale doesn't deliver with Smoke & Mirrors, their fans will not be happy.
I think this works better for twd, if they take too long with twau everybodys gonna figure out the mystery eventually. I also wonder if telltale got discouraged IF the ginger man theory turns out to be true and are taking more time to come up with somebody else? or if the holidays and twd just pushed them behind schedule.
I'm pretty sure the fans are already aware of Telltale's reputation for episode releases and I think most of us thought they might fix that.
