Season 2 Episode 1 in a 'TV Series' Style
Hi everyone, I couldn't see anything in the FAQ that says 'don't post videos' so I thought I'd go ahead and share this with you, possibly the core of the game's fandom. I decided to do this after the positivity my 'The Last Of Us' series received.
To celebrate the beginning of Season 2 (and the holidays), I made the game into a more cinematic style (it was already cinematic, I just gave the extra nudge). On my first playthrough (on PS3, my computer is old) I recorded everything and then took the footage into Sony Vegas, editing everything, attempting to remove the dialogue options so it was more fluid and enjoyable for casual viewers.
It also comes complete with opening credits, like a TV show.
Disclaimer: This isn't a regular 'Let's Play' and there is no commentary. Keep in mind that these were my personal gameplay decisions on my first blind run of the game, so they might not reflect what you would have chosen. There may also be a few minor bits where you can see the options or something, but I've checked everything and it's as minimal as possible.
I'll take useful feedback into account for 'A house divided.' but for now, here's part one of episode 1, see what you think.
The rest of episode 1 will come out over the next three days. I'll update the OP with them.

I noticed you brought Clem with you to Crawford during season 1. What happens to Omid if Clem isn't there to protect him? I never brought her to Crawford with me. Do you have any season 1 playthroughs I could watch? I would like to see the Crawford scenario with Clem. Thanks in advance, and nice work with these videos I hope you continue doing this with future episodes
I don't remember anything specific, but Omid is fine if Lee takes Clem to Crawford. I've played through both situations, and I remember Clementine kills a walker that gets into the mansion if you leave her behind, but if you take her she kills a walker in Crawford instead.
I'm contemplating doing Season 1 in the same style as these videos, but it depends on how much time I have free (or if I get bored in between episodes of Season 2.) It might happen, but I'm not sure yet.

I'd be really interested in a Season 1 of this, if you consider doing it sometime. My parents love the TV show but they're hopeless with computers so trying to introduce them to the game series is impossible. They really want to see it though, I've told them all about how much better it is than the show!
EDIT: This post is a little bit TL;DR, so I just summed it up at the end.
Season 1 is definitely a possibility. In fact, it'll probably happen, I'm just not sure when. I'm just getting my head around how to sort out Season 1's individual episodes. Of course I'd have to go along with the choices shown in the first episode of Season 2 for consistency's sake, I'd just have to worry about the hard drive space the recording would take up. I guess I could always record one full episode of the Season, edit it together, upload it then delete the files before recording the next episode. Season 2 is a lot easier in that respect because there's a lot less of the game to work with at each time.
Also the render times to make the final video file takes up to 12 hours on this old computer, so I have to leave it on overnight to do its thing. Being paranoid I always see that as a potential fire hazard, so I'm not sure if I'd be pushing it by rendering so many videos.
I'm leaning towards doing Season 1 in this format, but I'd have to get a laptop first, then the editing process and stuff would be way easier as I'd be able to render during the day on the laptop while editing on the computer.
In short, Season 1 is very likely, I'm just still working out how to go about back-end stuff like the rendering and workflow.
So today, my PS3 (which I record from) developed an inability to read game discs. Luckily this won't affect TWD as it is, as it is a downloaded game (thank christ) but I'm looking into getting a new PS3 so I can hopefully transfer the data.
And so another falls to the month of 'Deathcember': Omid, the eleventh doctor, and now my PS3.
This is so awesome. Now I can show Walking Dead to people that don't play video games!
If you had the time, could you make Season 1? I would love that
