I'm preeeettty sure this is a red herring. I say that because as a game dev, we've done the same thing many times; it's the best way to get the community excited and hype going.
Then we backhand everyone and shout "YOU WERE WRONG!"
Not that I'd be surprised if Kenny shows up, but I think a file being named "Kenny" doesn't definitively prove anything. Doug is in the background of the EP4 splash screen, is he showing up?

They're gonna make pointless threads saying "TTG really" saying
"Kenny died! You ruined his character arc and cheapened his heroic sacrifice! TWD is ruined!"

The idea of Kenny being a walker is most likely, and desirable.
Just because a character has a file doesn't mean they're in the game. It's happened before with Saints Row and The Sims, along with thousands of other games, so it can happen with The Walking Dead, too.
Actually, what's realistic is that they'll probably end up shooting EACH OTHER at the same time. Then when they come back as zombies, they're the only two in the entire world that actually attack other zombies (each other).

That's it Wendy(UndeadEuan) you've done it now, I wanted to give you a chance but you're too Jel, I'm calling the Jelly school, I'm sorry but you've left me no choice.....
I wonder if the People at Tell Tale, knew Kenny would be this favored. It would certainly help them bring Kenny back and keep him alive for season three, gathering the reaction some have to him.
I disagree. I think they SHOULD bring Kenny back, but that he should either die (for REAL this time) or just vanish again, but NOT appear again. He's basically the biggest, best link to Season 1 since almost everyone else died, which is why I think they should bring him back. But after Season 2, his story should be done FOR GOOD. He's had more screentime than anyone but Clem and Lee, and while they should bring him back for his link to S1, that's all he's really good for now. It's time for some of the new people to be in the spotlight.

I'm wondering what Telltale think of this. I mean if we're all posting threads with these files then couldn't they change it to keep it surprising or to screw with us? If it isn't too integral to thestory like Doug and Carley
I would call massive bullshit if Kenny is a walker. Mainly because we're currently in North Carolina, that is a very long way from Savannah, Georgia. The idea that walker Kenny would walk all the way from Savannah to the country side of North Carolina and still be in recognizable shape that the player recognizes would be too much of a coincidence for me.
Kenny showing up alive would make much more sense because I could totally buy Kenny joining a group that just so happened to make their home in the mountains.

Then again, how likely is Kenny showing up at all?
He was down an alleyway with about fifteen walkers on him. Realistically, there's no chance of him escaping. There was a walker right on him, too. Even if there was a window he'd have been grabbed. Maybe he could return with an amputated leg, but that's stretching it too.

Kenny is my favorite character but I think season 2 should be his last. He's the biggest link for season 1 and it would cool for the player to reform a bond with him, and then have it taken away in episode 4 (That looks like the most ominous episode) and kill him off brutally onscreen.

Even if they have a file for next episode ?

How successful as that model worked out for you so far?
Heh, it's either Kenny or Telltale is trolling us real hard.
After the way Telltale used Nick to get our hopes up, I think it'll turn out to be the latter.

Eh, more like you chucking a fit. That's more realistic.

InfiniteDawn, you really seem to enjoy targeting me, don't you? The GIF brigade are already on me, so you can hold your breath.
I'm not the one mocking someone over the internet.
Ps: Grammar is good. Use it.
Very likely since Telltale said they were exploring his fate. That's pretty much them confirming his appearance.

You don't mock people but you surely do insult them because they aren't a Lilly fan. People must pitty you.
You make a good point.
Also - it's possible that it's a new character called "Kenny" - or maybe one that uses his art assets.
A lot of possibilities.
