Do you think Telltale would Kill Clementine off?
after playing Season 2 Episode 1 and seeing how almost everyone is more invested and emotionally attached to Clementine now more then ever i can't help but wonder if Telltale would Kill Clementine off i thought about this in Season 1 but when they killed Lee off i began to wonder about it.even more. i don't think they would because it would probably cause a huge upset but it's a valid option it is the walking dead after all

Do you think Kirkman would kill Carl off?
No.
Because Carl and Rick are plot armor.
hmm not sure
I'd be happy if they made the episode download servers faster than the 15k a second they max out at now. Or maybe release an installer with the episode content I paid for in it.
But I guess that's crazy talk.
Maybe at the end of her story and if this is indeed the final season, but I don't think it is the final season. The series is too much of a success and I think depending on how this season goes, there are just so many places they could take Clementine. I really don't want her story to end. I think it would be perfect for 3 seasons, in season one you're the protected, in season two is the dark, ESB chapter of the trilogy, and in season three, you become a protector like Lee did to someone else. They won't want to age Clementine too much because they are already a year in the future compared to where the comics are, but at the same time, there's so much potential to that story I think. It would be some really cool symmetry.
Clementine is just such an amazing character. If they were to kill her off it can't be for shock value, there has to be validity to it and it has to be done the right way.
The only reason for season 1 was teaching Clem to survive. After Lee died Clem was left with the skills that Lee taught her. If they kill Clementine then that would make the entire first season pointless. So I don't think they'll kill off Clementine.
Nah, she is going to be the last survivor.
I don't think people would be upset. If you played The Last Of Us people wouldn't be upset if the girl died giving herself up for something greater. SO if their comes a time when Clem dies for someone(s) else important in the story i would be fine with that.
Maybe if Telltale feels like committing financial suicide.
So was Lee.
Agreed. I'm playing Season Two for Clementine.
Clem Clem is the reason i continue playing also did anyone watch Andre From Xerian Gaming play this hes the bomb
Well, Kirkman said in an interview that even if Rick died, the story would continue. I suspect that the story would continue with Carl, so... no.
Clem is the reason 98% of people play the game so killing her off would be a terrible idea. But Telltale loves doing crazy stuff just for shock value so idk what the heck is gonna happen.
The can kill Clem Clem off. Then they can sit back and watch as the numbers of international suicides raise by like 69,000,000,000,000,000,000
Clementine was THE plot. They won't kill her off... yet... but knowing how ruthless the walking dead universe is... no promises.
I will burn down telltale if she dies
LOL yeah right.. Clem is the reason 98% of people play the game R U kidding me. Thats like saying Rick is Lee and Carl is Clem from the show. How about we have play time with clem and see how many people buy that game. Telltale does things for a reason and not just shock value, they keep you on your toes because you never know when someone is going to die.
No I don't. Kirkman would surely bring this up as a fantastic idea to make the story darker (Darker isn't always better Kirkman!) but it being a game we need a hero in one form or another. Clem being the hero I don't think they would kill her. (Lets be honest, Lee was a sidekick for Clem.)
I think they will pull a Kenny at the end of all this; her fate will be unknown and its up to us to decide if she live or not.
Killing clementine would apparently send the Earth to have a negative population... Considering there are only about 8 billion people on the planet.
Even thy grandchildrens grandchildren shall feel the stain of Clem's death.
There are some series, like Song of Ice and Fire, which have a reputation for being willing to kill off anyone at a moment's notice...but when placed under stronger examination, an intelligent reader can tell this just isn't so. Even the darkest of series hesitate to kill off their most popular characters without first making absolutely sure the series can continue without the character in question. Those which don't hesitate on that count, thinking they're being 'dark and edgy' by killing off all the beloved characters, tend to enter a sharp decline in popularity afterwards as the fans lose interest. If you've run out of people to root for, who cares what happens next?
All this is a long way of saying that Clementine isn't gonna die unless Telltale's writers are really stupid or they intend to end the series. Even in the latter case, though, I highly doubt it will happen. It would make everything that happened before a frustrating, pointless shaggy dog story.
With incendiary Saltlick!
Yeah with this series or another you can kind of predict who will die. Anyone who dosnt have a story arc or is more of an complex character is less likely to die.
Carley/Doug I kind of saw coming as they were simply nice characters. I was kind of surpirsed about Larry and Chuck though
Once this is all over, Clementine will finally step out of lee's shadow and be recognised as a true hero.
Killing Clementine would be a really stupid thing for Telltale to do IMO, She is a very popular character and it would cause great upset among Telltale's Walking Dead fans. When they do eventually end her story i think they should leave the ending ambiguous as it could enable fans to create fan fiction as-to what happens next, I would also like for them to do it in a way in which we can feel some sadness and also hope for Clementine's future and that she has some relative safety but in The Walking Dead universe hope and safety is a rare thing.
nah lee death is a huge impact, if they made Clem dead would be repetitive and boring, basically would be real sucks to do that.
they could make people like Luke more then off him.
Nope, a dog is enough in one season.
That would seriously suck. If there is a final season eventually, TT better gives us a definite answer what happened to Clem, or I will be seriously disappointed. It would kind of be like "Here, you played multiple seasons because you wanted to know how the story about this little girl is gonna end, but know what? Fuck you, here is an open ending, so you will never know. Thanks for buying the games, motherfucker."
