  • Even if she is fifteen, she may just be late to mature because of Carlos sheltering her and perhaps just because she's a late-bloomer. I was the same way. I was very childish until I turned about sixteen, and I'm still less mature than many of my peers despite the fact that I'm in college. Sarah may be the same way. Just because you're a teenager doesn't mean you have the mentality of one.

  • I think she says she 15 if you say you are not the same age.

If you say "We're not the same age", she says "Well..what age are you? Because I'm 15"

Interestingly, Clem doesn't specify a number for how old she is afterwards(10 or 11, it hasn't been stated which). Just "I'm younger.. a lot younger."

    who said she was 15?

  • Considering she hasnt been in an "average" social environment since she was 12-13 years old, her social interactions have probably stagnated at that point. There arent any other kids, so she has had no one else to feel like an equal with. All the adults probably treat her as a kid, without giving her any other privileges, so she remains a kid.

  • I don't understand the big WTF here. I'm going with honest mistake with a little weird and a little excitement over seeing another "kid".
She may end up having some other issues but where is the "she crazy" "psycho" "stupid". I don't see it. People are looking into Carlos' comment to Clem way to seriously.

  • Lee didn't. Carlos just needs advice

  • Debatable. She did run away from Lee (very childish) when told not to. It wasn't until after his death she really grew up imo.

  • Or she actually has a disability, why is that more outlandish than being sheltered? Both make sense and we won't know until they actually tell us... if they tell us.

  • Sarah is....how you say..."Special"

  • I think she has special needs. I just thought it the moment she went

"WERE FRIENDS" that isnt normal even in a sheltered kid.

  • Carlos is an idiot, he needs to teach his daughter how to survive or she'll be dead when something bad happens.

  • Carlos needs to meet Chucks soul.

Carlos is sleeping but he can't quite fall into slumber however he sees someone when he closes his eyes

"You gotta consider her a living person. Thats it."

  • 100 percent agree. The only people that can do that are young, sporty boys who go 'Hey wanna play soccer?" "Shure bro"

  • I don't think Telltale will actually name the disability. Too much of a risk of offending people with that disability if they get it wrong somehow.

  • It could be some sort of Depression disorder, then it would make sense in theory, the apocalypse could get to her easier.

  • World be great, but humans only meet people they've already met in their dreams. Ain't gon' happen, sadly...

  • Sarah most likely has a mental disability. Remember how Carlos said that if she knew what went on, she would cease to function? He goes on to say that she isn't like Clementine. She's not "normal" so keep that in mind.

  • Yeah I played the same game, Didn't get hat she is some mutant. Just that Carlos thinks if she is told the truth that she would be messed up. Well Maybe her mom was a walker or some crazy shit happened to her and Carlos had to shelter her. Maybe she is just super nieve and Sheltered. It still fits the model you provided without having some mental disorder really. Could have been Clem if not for Lee and Chuck.

  • I think she acts like a completely normal 15 year old under the circumstances of not being exposed to the walkers and not seeing girl within 10 years of her age over the past 2 years. I truly don't think there is anything wrong with her. Even though Carlos saying she isn't like Clementine might imply Sarah is mentally not all there.

  • Well, that's the thing. You're supposed to be suspicious about the way she acts, even more after the way Carlos comments about her being 'different'.. We'll find out, eventually, be patient.

  • It's clear she's been sheltered, and if I had to guess what Carlos meant by his comments about her being different, it would probably have something to do with Sarah being autistic.

Take the wiki with a grain of salt. They say Clem is 10, when Melissa Hutchison herself has confirmed her at 11. Even so, 15 is a decent estimate.

  • Well yeah. That, and the fact that her father is trying to protect because of you know... a zombie apocalypse and all. But I'm pretty sure you're correct. Carlos has rather large hostility if you tell him that she needs to grow up sometime. So I'm pretty sure you're correct indeed.

  • Carlos is just making it worse for Sarah by not telling her what is going on in the world. She's just gonna be more traumatized if she finds out on her own. It might even lead to deaths. Per example, they are travelling to the mountains, when a gigantic horde starts to drawing towards them. Let's say, Luke draws out a gun to kill the zombies. Carlos quickly tries to steal him the gun, so Sarah doesn't see a man getting his brains blown out. While they're fighting over the gun, the pistol accidentally shoots and hits Luke lethally to the heart.

Just a bit of an imaginary scenario, but it might happen one time. I just hope someone doesn't die like this.
