Your walking dead experience with a song.
Title pretty much says it all. If you could choose a song that will define your journey thus far, which one will it be?

"Take us Back' Alela Diane
amazing song brings me back
Been a fan of Pink Floyd for ages but this song just reminds me of everyone that we lost through out the episodes ;-;
This is War by 30 Seconds to Mars
To be fair, the last two songs: "Take us back" and "In the water" were the reason i made this thread. Although, i think there are more songs that could work. Even though i can't think of any right now.
And here i thought this thread would be short on classic rock bands. Good choice!
Why thank you my friend
Good choice
Looks like we have some other Pink Floyd fans?
Skylar Grey - Coming Home. Minus the annoying intrusions by Diddy and Dirty. We all know that no one is getting out of this ok :P
Hell fucking yes.
After a while, the game puts me in a slightly depressed trance, reminding me of this song:
I suppose you could also use time. It really shows how the time has passed and how the people who you were close to have been lost. Amazing song.
Yep.
That song has some deep feels. Love Pink Floyd so much
"The child has grown,
The dream is gone." Reminds me of Clemmy.
I just imagine Lee sitting there while this song is on. Numb to the pain because of the bite. Just lying there paralyzed to exhausted to do anything but taking comfort in knowing Clem is still alive. Hence "Comfortably numb"
I imagine putting on some metal and Lee just goes total badass mode and slays hundreds of zombies!!!
Very true, and since we've already established some rock songs here, first time when i saw Clem in season 2, Child In Time by Deep Purple was my first thought... Although it may not suit well in this case.
I imagine Lee watching Clem about to shoot him, and his life reflecting before his eyes.
"When I was a child,
I had a fever."
Unfortunately. I just wish we didn't play as her, since her dream is gone.
Yes, this is a shameless plug
Noticing a distinct lack of bands other than Pink Floyd, here's a song that reminds me more of the rise and decay of Lee's group, and how those who are gone seem to simply disappear.
Well, better to play as her than the alternative in that case, don't you think? Let's hope for a good ending, i'm not gonna say happy cause i know that won't be the case.
I also have another one.
This video summed up what my Lee was willing to do to protect Clem, killing the ST Johns,Bandits and going through a herd to save her. Especially loved the line Lee said to Christa in ep 5 about his anger, "I got an anger in me like I don't know what".

The alternative of having her be a well written character no matter what route you take, and not having her depressing monotone follow you everywhere? Yeah, that'd be-wait, how is that better again?
Yeah
And to diversify the genre pool, here's a song by an artist that gets way more shit than he should:
It reminds me of how everyone seems to shit on our protagonist, yet he still somehow usually succeeds.
EDIT: Every time I post something, something else is posted that balances what I try to balance.
People on this thread have a taste in music that's for sure.
I remember when that played at the end of Dragon Age Origins, after being on a 70 hour adventure and saving the world it was damn satisfying to hear that song let me tell you!
Whoa....Whoa.....Whoa.
Good song by Gay Fish :P
?
He has some pretty decent songs, i'll give him that.:)
That was kinda cool
Well, since i didn't post any song... I'm thinking this could go pretty well.
Because we can all agree this game is such a happy one full with joy and laughter I think this song would be perfect.
Thanks Mr Norris sir! Also you're my friend from the timeline/comic thread earlier, we meet again
haha, so our paths have crossed again!
This one translates in metaphors and music everything I wanted to tell Clementine near the end, the spirit I wanted to breathe into her with my final words.

Never become a bad person, Clementine. Keep hope. One day this nightmare will have to end.
