Why it can't be __________

I've seen alot of threads about the ginger guy being the killer, but here's my theory on why he can't be the killer.

When Bigby and Snow go to the Trip trap their taxi driver is the ginger guy and when bigby gets out of the car, we can see the ginger guy by the fire (see picture below), this either means he has a twin brother or he is just a reused model.

I personally think that the ginger guy is just an reused model and that he isn't the killer.

What do you guys think? Let me know.

(Sorry for my bad english, I'm from the Netherlands.)

Its hard to tell if that's the ginger in the pic.

  • I honestly can't think of any but then again there are alot of obscure fables out there.

  • True

I honestly can't think of any but then again there are alot of obscure fables out there.

  • Fixed it.

  • It's probably an inside joke in Telltale by now.

  • Thanks

Looking at it now, I can tell its him. I'm hoping hes a reused model too, because it would suck to know the killer already.

    Fixed it.

He talks in the hallway with Snow. He even has a voice-actor at the end of the credits. Extra-models don't talk or interact with characters in the game , an extra-model is only used for background purposes. So I doubt he's an extra.

However I can not explain why he is in two places at the same time. There's too much mystery yet , we shall see the following episodes.

  • Are there any witches in the comics capable of duplicating someones image?

  • Adversary's agents used Red Riding Hood's (and not just her I think) appearance for infiltration.

Guys have you thought about the other guy in the pitcure? (Kinda looks like a pimp). Didn't Bigsby run into him outside the office and wasn't he kinda of a douchebag? (Maybe not the same guy buy he kinda looks like him)

I have no idea if people have talked about him in some other thread but he seems pretty suspicious to me.

  • Isn't he the same guy that you're fighting in the bar ? The one whose hand you can cut off ?

  • Gren was actually in the bar tho. Its probably telltale reusing his model, and dressing him up differently.

Yeah but the guy outside wasn't Gren right?. (Had both eyes still working and a scar over his face). Also Gren is already inside the bar with different clothes. Maybe im just drunk/tired but I thought Gren and the officeguy was two different people.

If it's just them reusing models (with more then one skin) I find it lazy and confusing. I thought I was on to something with that observation. :P

  • If you think about it, it makes sense. Why waist time creating a new character model for somebody that only makes an appearance for 1 or 2 seconds.

Plus Telltale needs all the time they can get.

  • I am tempted to denounce him as only a reused model, but the scene in the Woodlands Luxury Apartments hallway suggests otherwise. When he runs into Bigby and Snow, a very short and trivial scene occurs about bumping into each other, and Bigby and Snow continue on their way to the elevator. There doesn't seem to be any purpose to this scene- it seems very suspicious and out of place. One could argue it was used as emphasis to Snow's paranoia that no place is safe, but I have a feeling there may be more to it. I don't think the red head will end up being the killer, but he could perhaps play a role in the murder.

  • Making another model isn't that hard really ... they're probably just playing with us. Maybe they find it funny , but I find it bad scripting.

  • reusing models in a zombie game might be ok, but in a mystery type game it shouldn't be done.

  • I think he's showed up too many times just to be a reused model plus that scene where he bumps into Bigby and Snow means he's meant to be noticed. I dont necessarily think he's the killer but Im sure he's significant.

  • I'm not sure how long it takes, but I can see where your coming from. For me personally I don't find it a big deal.

  • in the beginning of the game the red-haired guy is driving the cab that drops off bigby... immediately after the cab drives away you see the red-haired guy again walking away from Toad's building. It's obviously a re-used model. the character might have significance, but i think telltale messed up there.... possibly

  • If you look really closely you can actually see gren next to the ginger guy even though gren is in the bar.

  • I've seen in older threads that there is a theory suggesting some people are using glamour to appear the same for various purposes. Not much backing it apart from the unusually frequent appearances he/they make

  • It is him!

    I never noticed him here
