please no more (or use them a lot less) gifs
they lag me and they make conversations really annoying to have
i've seen people complain about the maturity of the forums, and I generally feel that gifs tend to support this "immaturity" more than not.
i am a walrus

I tend to disagree: there is a time to use them and a time not to use them. I think they make the threads more enjoyable to go through, but I understand where you are coming from. I'm sorry that you have lag with Gifs. I can't really yell at you for making a thread asking people politely to stop then calling yourself a walrus. In fact, you get a like for calling yourself a walrus.
PLEASE MOAR!!!
are you running windows 98?
I remember having to use dial-up back in the day. When it took 10 minutes to load a webpage. Those were the days man!
win 7
internet is manure
Honestly its just that stage of the forums, people tend to go through stages on forum use. Especially since most of this forum are fairly new.
To start with its people who are compared to an infant stage of forum use who the majority make an account as they want the next part of a game. This stage of the forum is very basic (wah wah we want season 2 wah wah). However many of these early starters release the joy of internet memes and an online community
Then there is the kid stage. After a bit of the game is released the new members are excited and create gifs and memes till there computers overload, fanfics and more. Everyone is happy and very excited.
Then after some sadness or maturation they reach the teenage stage. This is a scary time as people are very serious, memes are vilified by them and serious discussion is only allowed. Characters you just used to like become liked in another way and its a dark time for forums.
Finally through more maturation and happy times. They progress to an adult forumer, they are not as serious as teenage stage or silly as the kid stage. That said by the time most new forumers reach this stage the game has ended and most leave or go elsewhere.
Then finally a new episode is announced and a new batch of new forum babies toddle out and the cycle begins again
Its just the forum circle of life. By this I'm just saying this overuse of memes is what most people on forums go through its just more noticeable on here as a lot of new people came in after the forum was changed.
Inb4 some kid posts that Kenny gif.
I dont mean maturation in that sense just in a sense of online stuff. Its hard to explain but I gave it my best shot, early on on forums I used to post memes etc too much its just stages a lot of people go through.
At what point in maturation does the person stop posting on the video game forum?
Inb4 Flog posts something negative about Ken.......ooops, nevermind.
inb4 Kenny/Lilly fanwars being the dumbest things to come out of the Walking Dead since the TV series' Carl.
Agreed. Why can't everyone just get along?
Dale was the last straw. That kid is worse than Ben
Dale was awesome! I still get teary eyed when he makes that speech about not killing the prisoner.
Or at least just leave each other alone. There's tons of disagreement over at the other twd forum I'm at but it never seems to get as nasty as it does here.
Awww, no Clem gif? lol.
I didn't say anything negative about Kenny in that post.
No, but bringing him up whenever you have a disagreement with one of his fans makes you seem a bit petty after a while. Of course, some of the Kenny fan/Lilly haters can be just as bad if not worse.
My personal stance is screw them both. All of their constant bitching at each other made the motor inn a really unpleasant place to be.
Sound familar, everybody?
The Kenny meme was extremely relevant to the thread, however.
Point's been made, thanks.
Obviously none of us are there yet, so it's a moot point.
