Season 1 - Episode 5 - Accusations of the "Stranger"
The "stranger" in the hotel told me that I made Clem eat human flesh, but I didn't.
Is this normal or is there something wrong with my save or the game?

I say something is wrong with your save file. I was testing out a theory that involved the Stranger scene and he told me that I killed Danny St. John when I know I didn't. I replayed season 1 and in the S1 recap in S2 it showed that I spared him, so it's all good now for me.
save file. everything went right for me
For some reason it only captures if you killed them both or spared one. In my playthrough I killed Andy but spared Danny, but in my recap it showed me sparing Danny. Just weird.
Thanks for the feedback.
I have so many problems with saves and downloads it is just makes me sick.
Why must such a great game be destroyed by lousy programming.
Everything worked fine on PS3 but I rather want to play the game on PC, in 3D.
Yeah I remember hearing something about that myself, you need to kill both of them in order for it to "Count".
I could be wrong though.
Playing this on PC I presume? On my 360 and PS3 playthoughs I had no troubles with my choices. Though on PC, they got a bit troublesome ever since 400 Days got installed. It actually almost got unplayable and was stuck at a black screen where it prompted me to ask if I wanted to rewind to a previous checkpoint... on a brand new episode. And even when I got it working strange things were happening, although my choices were still the same I was having odd occurrences happen such as what the Stranger said as a prime example.
It's a shame too, because this game is without a doubt best on PC with no lagging during autosaves or big fight scenes (things that annoyed me on console). Which is to be expected obviously. Still though, these problems only came around for me when 400 Days came out.
Yes, the problems are on PC only. But I had the problems since episode 2.
Whenever I start the game, I have to redownload the episodes (obviously I only download the one I play currently but it gets annoying).
But the worst thing is when the save breaks and don't correspond to how I played. Accurate saves should be most important for a game which is based on it.
I think I have to reply one more time. But I have time, because I will not buy the game before all episodes are out this time so that I can buy the game on DVD preventing any downloading trouble. At least I hope that the DVD will contain all episodes.
Indeed, I've went through the exact same situation you have. And I once posted about it in the Steam forums in regards to it. Read dannyboy24's post near the bottom, the fix worked for me, hopefully it will work for you!

I don't have the steam version and seeing your last post in your link, nothing is fixed regarding my initial question/problem.
I think I will re-install my OS and delete every trace of the game on my other HDD. Then I just replay it one more time.
