THE Kenny Speculation Thread (Inevitable Spoilers Within)

Anyway. In response to the sheer number of threads all about Kenny, we've decided that the best way to cut back on them is to have one, and ONLY one, thread dedicated to the man with the mullet they call Kenny.
And here it is. Ta-da!
Doesn't matter what it is - theories about how Kenny survived, general 'Kenny is awesome' posts, whatever. If it's about Kenny, you put it here, not in its own thread.

As great as an idea this is, it's going to fix dick. Kenny lovers will continue to post their "new" findings in "new" threads, and this thread will be lost in history.
These forums don't have that functionality.
Well, the original post can't be moved but I remember Jennifer moving a bunch of posts about release dates on another thread into the official release date thread. Can't you guys at least do that?
That's why it should be a sticky.And have it name changed so it draws more attention.
Welp I haven't been opening every Kenny thread since I figured most of them were the same and at least it's all collected into one post now... though I feel like people will still make their own threads...
And it looks like I missed out on a lot of drama (drat!) happening, is there an entire miniature war going on?
We need episode 2 now to see who it's gonna be!
I actually wouldn't be surprised if people began taking up arms here. The intensity of the fighting has been... disturbing, to say the least.

I was the same way. If Kenny or Lilly was in the title I didn't click on it, as I don't care for either of them that much. For some reason I opened one one up earlier, and I'm glad I did. Haven't laughed like this from a forum in a while.
It really is the only way to stop all this fighting. Unfortunately, by the time the Episode is released I'm afraid that there will be No Time Left to salvage All That Remains from Amid The Ruins of this forum.

Ok so now that we have THE thread I just want to make the same comment that I have been making the entire time.Before I say it let me clear the air. First, I don't hate Kenny. Second, I don't mean to say anything to start an argument I am just befuddled here.
So here is what I think: This game is great because telltale has created a very realistic game (obviously with it being in a zombie apocalypse.) IF Kenny were to return it would be completely unrealistic. Now this is where I start to get very confused. Its great you guys like Kenny, but there is no realistic or explainable way that Kenny escapes the alleyway. If Kenny were to return I would lose respect for telltale. Im not saying I wouldn't play the game or still love it, but it would (IN MY OPINION) lump this game into every other zombie game and piece of work out there.
Its great you guys are thinking of all of these theories, stories, and ways to explain Kenny coming back but the truth is there is no evidence that ,or realistic way, Kenny survived. I think it is Lily because not only does it fit the story better but she leaves alive and with a fighting chance to survive. At this time I would ask for someone to tell me how Kenny survived that zombie onslaught of 20+ zombies being cornered in with no escape route, while it being realistic and with little speculation. My point is: You can't. Please don't say he punched in a window, found a manhole, fought 20 zombies with less than 5 bullets and bare hands. There is no way Kenny survived. Just get over that fact.
However I am not saying Kenny won't return. He probably will. My only point is that Kenny is logically not supposed to be alive. I don't care what telltale developers said, I don't care that someone "hacked" into the game and found a file of Kenny, all I am saying he SHOULD NOT come back. Besides creating a silly and most of the time non-credible theory about Kenny, there is no way he lived. Even with that people are still creating stories about what happened "off camera" (which telltale has yet to do anything in the entire story which has happened off camera and left for the player to assume) or ways Kenny lived and found his way to where the group is know, or "reading into" Clementine tone/ expression when she says the line. There is no FACTUAL proof based off game play that Kenny is alive. Where as with Lily we (and Clementine) see her drive away.
I can't help but feel that this thread won't be effective. We'll still be seeing Kenny threads Around every Corner. The arguing and name calling will just get worse and worse because we're A House Divided. We have a Long Road Ahead before we can come back from this. All we can ask for is that eventually it ends, and we can start over on A New Day.

Thankfully I was never Starved for Help while coming up with those posts.
Sometimes things that don't seem likely have to happen for the sake of the story. I, personally, think that the story would be better if it WERE Kenny that showed up again. I think that they could reasonably explain his return if it is actually him. There might not be much proof of him coming back, but stranger things have happened. I'm not trying to start an argument either, just sharing my own opinion on why he would be a good candidate for returning.
Also, how does Lilly fit the story better? Just curious.
At this point, I'm not sure how Telltale could have the "I thought you were dead" person be anyone besides Kenny or Lily without disappointing the hell out of the player.
But anyway, when WILL Episode 2 be released? It seems like it's 400 Days away.
