I suspect if Kenny comes back, and he isn't a zombie, he will be missing a limb or two. It's not entirely unrealistic to think he just got bitten instead of killed.

So here is what I think: This game is great because telltale has created a very realistic game (obviously with it being in a zombie apocalypse.) IF Kenny were to return it would be completely unrealistic. Now this is where I start to get very confused. Its great you guys like Kenny, but there is no realistic or explainable way that Kenny escapes the alleyway. If Kenny were to return I would lose respect for telltale. Im not saying I wouldn't play the game or still love it, but it would (IN MY OPINION) lump this game into every other zombie game and piece of work out there.

When we saw Nick up close for the first time we were disappointed but we quickly moved on (well most of us did). It will be the same in Episode 2 if it isn't Kenny or Lilly.
At this point, I'm not sure how Telltale could have the "I thought you were dead" person be anyone besides Kenny or Lily without disappointing the hell out of the player.
But Clementine specifically says "I thought you were ddead". Doesn't this lead one to believe it's someone we would also believe to be dead? As opposed to left on the side of the road?

Took you all long enough didn't it?
I've suggested this many times just to get disrespected, insulted or downvoted for it and you all choose now to do it?
Seems like I'm being mocked..
Regardless, I'd like to take this oppitunity to apologize.
I've been disrespectful for the ..sane ones of you and it was un-needed. I've recently replayed Season 1, seeing it from your side, siding with Kenny, and he's a pretty awesome friend. I smiled at his little speech at the end of episode 4.
Although some of his personality is like being beaten in the face by a rock with his disrespect, it's understandable.. SOMETIMES.
but yeah. I still believe he's dead regardless, but consider me a "half" Kenny fan or something, I'm not mad over heels for him and I won't get mad if he does be confirmed dead, I'd just like to say.. sorry.
Hold on one second, I have a theory.
What if this "I thought you was dead" person is just a dialouge choice? it's happend before numerous times in season 1 where major dialouge turned out to be an optional choice "Don't come back you here! or I'll kill you!"
among other stuff.
Maybe someone appears to die in the episode and turns up later?

I hope he's dead too. I hate it when popular characters are never confirmed dead in case the fans want more of them. In my game Kenny died saving Ben. Sometimes a good death really makes the character. Though I do like it when characters live on after their lives have ended: once everything they know about themselves, and the role they have in society, is gone forever. Kenny was a family man. That's gone now. When he lost that part of himself he became entirely fixated on getting a boat; let's go ahead and assume that means of coping is gone too. If he comes back he better not be the same man we saw in season 1.
And I hope someone remembers that he was my first choice to take care of Clementine.

Lily fits the story better because she left with an RV heading north. Likley the RV ran out of gas and she joined the group that Clementine sees. Is that speculating what happened? Of course, but it is complete more logical point than Kenny somehow surviving the walker onslaught. I understand that the story (according to the heavy majority) would be better with Kenny but like I said that wasn't the point I was trying to make. Kenny might come back next episode, but he really should not be alive.
Sometimes things that don't seem likely have to happen for the sake of the story. I, personally, think that the story would be better if it WE… moreRE Kenny that showed up again. I think that they could reasonably explain his return if it is actually him. There might not be much proof of him coming back, but stranger things have happened. I'm not trying to start an argument either, just sharing my own opinion on why he would be a good candidate for returning.
Also, how does Lilly fit the story better? Just curious.
Ugh. Clementine had to of thought Lily was dead too. This is what I mean that you can't read into what she was saying. Everyone in her life has died in the past two years. She stole an RV with no gas and no supplies. Even Kenny remarks that she is essentially good as dead. And thats just if you kept her on the RV! If you left her on the side of the road, you think there is a high chance she survived ? Of course not. Clementine certainly would assume Lily is dead.
But Clementine specifically says "I thought you were ddead". Doesn't this lead one to believe it's someone we would also believe to be dead? As opposed to left on the side of the road?
I disagree, I can personally see why he did it. Not to create an argument. But, if it was Lee or Kenny in that position. Do you really think Larry would've hesitated to carry out the deed?
Oh I think Larry would do the same, however this guy said he did better than what most normal people would do.
And if the stats at the end of the episode are correct, then most people think he was wrong to kill Larry.
I disagree too.I would do the same, just not as impulsive and quick as he did.The reanimation still takes about a minute-or-two to take,so that's plenty of time to check if he is really dead and give Lily some time instead of just smashing a salt lick on his head in the blink of an eye.

We can move posts or threads one by one, but that is about the current extent to our ability. The process for moving individual posts isn't exactly quick either.
If a thread gets stickied, it doesn't show up on the front page of the site.
Also, we have enough stickied threads. We don't need another. The sheer popularity of this thread shows that.
Exactly, and most people just play it once. So we can see most people think Kenny was wrong there, regardless of what impression the forums may give us.

Look, picture it this way. The last thing Larry would ever want is for his reanimated corpse to cause his daughter's death. So Kenny did Larry a favor.
That's true. On the other hand, Larry wouldn't want his daughter to suffer by him being murdered in front of her. And it was Lilly's choice to resuscitate him, and it was her own risk.
Kenny should have held the block over Larry's head, and when the extremely visible signs of transformation began to occur (we see that these signs occur fast as with David earlier in the episode), then he should drop it. He overreacted and didn't think what was the best solution for everyone. being careful but still protecting everyone.

No, the bite could come instantly to someone so close. And Season 2 Episode 1 showed that. What with Nick's mother and all. By the time you see the extremely visible signs it becomes too late.

But David only becomes dangerous after the visible signs are there. Same with Amy in the tv show; she was dead for about 8 hours before reanimating, and when she does, her skin is incredibly pale and her eyes are completely different.

Finally a thread dedicated to Kenny!!! Now we need one for his godlike moustache!
We most certainly do NOT.
Kenny's behaviors was actually better than what normal people would've done in the same situations.

I agree, except for the meat locker situation.

Enjoying talking about a character you like.

Yeah, I killed him in my first play through. Saved him in the second, the stats were: 65% tried to save him, 35% helped kill him wasn't it?

Damn, that must have took Jennifer a lot of time.
On a serious note though, what kind of a forum is it if mods aren't even able to merge threads??
Do you say Kenny isnt important enough to be stickied?! Noooooooooooooo!!!!!
It's missing a saltlick
For all of those hardcore Kenny fans out there. :P

Honestly I was quite surprised when I first saw the stats for EP 2.
If Kenny had a musical theme, it would be this :

As was I, I expected to be in the minority, but I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't.
No its this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkwpXipZUoE

How could we forget?
Shame on us.
P.S. Lemoncakes do you really have Sam the (dead) Dog as your Profile pic?! Thats horrible.
