People on these forums

why is it that when u try to strike up a conversation just about a game you get a flood of people who just wanna rant like two year olds about the company instead of paying attention to what the conversation is? and i also before TWD S2 came out there wasn't that many people ranting about telltale but yet on TWAU thread there are tons of people just crying about how telltale sucks and blah blah i mean come on don't people have anything better to do?

  • People get easily lost when talking about something they are passionate about. That's my best guess.

  • I mean yes it does suck to have to wait on something i'm allready anxious to play the 2nd episode of TWD but i know i can wait even though i may hate it i don't come on here and just "well $%^& telltale i'll never buy another thing for em they don't care about the customer blah blah" i mean damn it's like seriously you waited this damn long and ur lifes not over

  • It comes down to impatience. We live in a world now were everything is immediately given to us. I don't mind the wait, in fact I like the whole episodic thing, I thing it really works for games like this. But some people aren't really used to waiting for things like the next half of a game. Everything is instant now. People just don't have the patience. If they want to rant on this forum about the company, that's their choice, but it certainly isn't going to change anything.

  • OK, I'm going to close this thread since it's only going to invite more people to troll you and such, but before I do that, I think you deserve an honest answer to your question.

And the sad part is, I'm not even kidding with that. It's been proven time and again. :(

As for people's reactions to certain things... well, TWAU has suffered a pretty severe delay - and it's had the longest gap between episode in Telltale's history. For that to be a thing... people are upset. In combination with the above theory, it results in a mess all round.

We are trying to deal with it, but there's only so many of us and we are only around so many hours of the day, and we only have so many (mostly barely functional) tools at our disposal, so... yeah.

Like I say, I'm closing this thread, but hopefully you'll stick with us. Things'll get better. Hopefully. ;)
