Has anyone heard if The Walking Dead will be brought to the Xbox One or PS4? I played season 1 on XBox 360 and no longer own one.

Nope. Highly doubt this season will be on next-gen consoles. Next season for sure though, they are probably working on a new graphics engine for the new consoles.
Not yet but hopefully after this season they start to put it on other consoles.
Hopefully, by next season they have a new engine! The one they use now is way too unstable.
Probably not this season (save game import problems), but I imagine next season will be on XB1/PS4. For now, just play it on PC and enjoy the resolution/framerate benefits.
PC has less issues in that sense. But I know far less people had problems with save files on consoles. Really it comes down to which system each person prefers.
Played the whole first season on my PS3. Luckily I switched over to Season 2 on the PC.
At least when I get a next-gen console now I won't have to worry about keeping my current console for TWD.

I mean that it would be difficult for a next-gen system to fully recognize saves from the past gen because they are not backwards compatible/Telltale is kind of inept at this in the first place. All systems have save problems, but they are largely fixable on the PC if you are willing to dig deep enough.
