  • I heard the Telltale version has some problems with downloading. I just bought the steam version because I had a lot of leftover funds in my Steam account.

    Steam

  • if youre planning on continuing the series into season 2 i heard with telltale the first day episode 1 of season 2 came out people couldn't play it because you need to log into your telltale account when you download it, steam on the other hand you just download and play

Why steam?(I Don't Mind Spending extra Money).

  • Thanks.

  • I bought mine from Steam, but only because of the achievements and cards. If you buy the whole season from Telltale though you win the physical copy when the serie is complete.

  • I never received any cards for TWD Season 1 or 2 and I have logged 100 hours into Season 1 and 6 hours into Season 2.

I did do additional playthroughs after cards were supposedly added.

  • Buy from Steam, I've heard the Telltale DRM isn't so great.

  • I have had some troubles with my save files on my Steam version after I got 400 Days, but thankfully I was able to fix them (I think). So yeah, go for Steam.

  • buy it from the people that made it

  • why?

  • Because steam takes its % for providing service. So if you want to support developers more by directly from them. But I got it on steam, it had a slight discount and I had few euros from selling all the trading cards and other stuff I don't care about.

    why?

  • plus its better buying from the people who tested the game played the game and made it and @Still_not_bitten is right about everything he said

    why?

is not true. You could totally play on the first day when you bought the TTStore version. There were issues in earlier releases (an TT gave out steam keys to the people who bought it here, so these people now have two copies of that game) but season two of TWD went flawlessly.

  • Well, I did'nt received from season 2 either, I'm not even sure it has cards, probably not, but in season 1 I received 3 cards I think

  • Depends on what you prefer. If you want better tech support and general more security, pick it at Steam.

Personally I chose TT for both S2 and S1 because I can purchase in dollars and not euros and the price is lower.

  • Steam cloud is nice incase you ever lose your save

  • Thanks.
I will go for the steam version.

  • Steam only get a small percentage of the product.
