I don't trust this guy...
Who I'm talking about is Luke.
After he saw Clem was bitten he dropped her on the floor and was all like 'I don't touch her', which probably is a reasonable thing to do, but then, when Clem passes out he suddenly makes up his mind?
Also, I could almost bet that there is going to be a traitor in the cabin group who works for Carver, and I think it's Luke.
The Problem about him is that he is TOO nice after Clem proves she isn't bitten.
It's just that I can't think of anyone else doing it.
Sarah is a little stupid I guess? At least I think Carlos said something like this. Carlos is kind of an asshole not to stich Clementine's arm, sure, but I think it really is because he is really cautious and wants to protect his daughter.
Pete is a good guy from how far I can tell. Of course this could be fake, too, but I don't think so.
Nick and Rebecca are both kind of rough, but good at heart. If it's one of them, it's Rebecca, though.
Alvin seems ok, too.
Luke is the only guy that is way too trusting to Clem. I mean she just comes popping out of the woods and he just buys it? Maybe because he knows she doesen't work for Carver?
After all, maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I don't trust Luke.
Comments
i think he's the father of Rebecca's baby.
It's really up to you if you want to appeal to Luke or not. I don't trust anyone so far in the season. We didn't have enough time to develop a relationship to anyone. Indeed it's a reasonable thing to react to a bite like he did, but as soon as they reach the cabin Luke is supporting Clementine to a limit, but if you butter him with Clementine's sad eyes he will fully support her. We also need a character in the game who can guide Clementine, and be there for her, and her having someone to look up to. It's obvious Telltale want us to like him.
I try to look at how I would react if I find a hurt child in the forest. Wouldn't you try and protect her if you were in Luke's shoes?
Yeah, I'll give you that. He was doing the right thing, no doubt, but that is not what I really mean. I mean afterwards he is way too nice imo.
I don't trust anyone that much either, tough.
Maybe
Now that I think about it it's really a possibility.
People seem to think something bad about every member of the cabin group example there's people who think Sarah will be a serial killer
I guess thats true somehow, but you have to admit Luke is kinda a too perfect guy in a zombie apocalypse.
I'll admit that but some theory's are just over the top
Ok ok I got a little carried away I'll admit it
Still don't trust him, though.
Me either. First chance I get. I'm going to kill him.
Really? There is no sign at least for me that Luke isn't trustworthy. You have to realize that Luke has been with this group for years now. They are close. He's not just going to instantly take Clementines side (even though he pretty much did after the "lets put her in the shed" incident) I think Luke is the only truly trust worthy one in the group, assuming Pete dies
I don't trust anyone, I don't care how nice they are at first, I mean hell, the St. John brothers were nice at first too........
@Epic it wasn't you that made the weird theory's lol
@Jinx that's a bit much at the moment
I think you make an interesting theory. TTG did say when asked to sum up season 2 in one word, they said "Trust". I think there could be a traitor among the cabin. I hope its not Luke though. So far he's the only new likeable character we've seen. Pete is ok too but sadly i don't think he's going to last long.
I think Sarah might be "the next Ben" possibly because she may be perceived as dumb/stupid and cause danger within the group, its possible, i guess we will see
Really? I don't think any of them are really trustworthy right now, but (for me at least) especially Luke isn't.
I just got the feeling he is hiding something.
Its possible i mean think about it he's the only one there with no known family
poor Alvin
My reasoning is that he feels guilty. Think about it. He just locked an 11 year old girl in a shed, forced her to rob from his group, suture and disinfect her own arm, and kill a lurker in close quarters while recovering from said suturing and disinfecting.
Me neither. Not really. And not yet.
I was just about to follow up. Yes this is true, out of the whole cabin he is the only one not to have family. Alvin/Rebecca, carlos and his daughter, Nick and his uncle Pete.
It could go either way, like the OP's theory, he could be a traitor or he could end up being a long time survivor alongside Clem. Im hoping the latter!
Yeah, thats exactly my point.
'He's the only new likable character'.
That's the problem. The nice guys usually turn out to be fucking assholes.
Another interesting point with the family. Didn't cross my head yet.
But I think the kid is Alvins after all.
Or he could be the first to die. After all, nobody knows.
If he turns out not to be a traitor that would have been my theory, too.
If anyone from this group deserves trustworthy, so this is Luke.
Yes true! Like I said I hope that's not the case because he is at this time a likeable character but who knows. Also I think Luke will be one of the main characters because he is listed 2nd behind Clem on the credits. Might not mean anything but it's interesting how he is credited ahead of even Christa and Omid and the other cabin survivors. Clem was 2nd behind Lee in Season 1 so I do think he will be around for a while good or bad
yeah me too
there assholes or they gonna die
Alright, good point
Or both.
TTG likes to fuck with us.
While I really think there's gonna be a traitor in the group, it may not be Luke.
But I just have the feeling he will have a role to play before this is over. And it might as well be a bad one.
I also have a suspicion that there is one trick, and Orlando Bloom (Luke) is not exactly who he wants to appear. But still I hope that I am wrong. I try to be optimistic about Luke.
