What if... He had lived?

edited January 2014 in The Walking Dead

How would you think the series would be different if Mark had lived at the Dairy? How much longer would he last?

Comments

  • Think he would have died in bandit attack or in Savannah. don't think he would make much difference overall.

  • Oh, he was dead from the moment he was thought of. I can't see him surviving past Episode 3. He would probably be the one that Lilly shot, if he hadn't already been killed in the bandit attack at the motor inn.

  • I can't agree with that because Mark brought the group food and earned his place, although he does have a tendency to spill the beans and rat you out at times.

  • He would have kept whining for food until the group finally decided to feed him his own legs.
So pretty much how he ended up before, only less hungry.

  • Duck would have been slightly hungrier on the walk back.

  • Yeah and I don't see how Mark being there would change that.......

  • Mark was just that guy who tries but isnt lucky, plus his gossiping and complaining was kind of annoying. I feel he could have got as far as any of them but his luck just wasnt there.

    nvm

  • Poor Mark, created just so the other characters didn't have to die.

  • I do not understand how he could cut the legs just because of that arrow in his hand and he thought that it would not survive so he wanted to eat.

  • The arrow was in his shoulder. Obviously he would have survived, the St. Johns just used the injury as an excuse to eat him.

  • No Vernon and stealing the boat got everyone killed

  • Lilly said that the only reason he's with them because he gave them food is that what trust means to you?

  • I thought Shawn green died too early, too.

  • Shawn kind of had to die for comic canon though

  • Awww, I really wish the video game was it's own canon.

  • I wonder, imagine if he lived to Episode 5? When the balcony falls? Would he have fallen? Would he have gone before Ben? Would Kenny sacrifice himself for Mark? So many questions!

  • Nope, Mark will use his amazing air-force powers to fly over without touching the balcony fence, so Ben still dies.

  • He seemed like a petty honest/noble character, but he does complain about food alot

  • If he didn't die in episode 2 I could honestly see him surviving a bit longer, maybe up to episode 4 where he probably would've died in Crawford or something.

  • Mark was a great guy but way too trusting, as soon as we get to the dairy farm Mark just goes, "This is great! Bring the whole group out here!" like whoa slow down...this family we just met are obviously psychos, c'mon!

  • And If the stranger never kidnapped Clem they all could of stopped vernons group from stealing the boat.

  • what if ben died in crawford? when lee drops the radio mark can swoop in and get it so kenny doesnt die :D

  • Yeah he's the opposite of Ben

  • Mark has a military background with the Air Force. I think if he was left with the boat and a gun, he would easily take on several cancer patients, armed or not. Whether or not he got real action, he is much better equipped and trained than some people with guns.

I really wish the one that's get served as a dinner was ben,and it's more heartbreaking that mark didn't get more reminded in lee's dialogue option, just like what happened to chuck.and to answer your question,I think he will remain survived until season 2 and the only one that met the bandits, omid can probably still survived too,so clem can still flee together with christa or even omid in the woods.

  • And Stranger did that because Kenny decided to raid the car (my storyline). Thus, fuck Kenny!

  • he's not really that trusting as he agreed if lee suggest to make sure the place is secure, and it wasn't that obvious either when we met the st john for the early first time, the worst I can imagine that time about them is only they made a deal with the bandits.

Mark was a great guy but way too trusting, as soon as we get to the dairy farm Mark just goes, "This is great! Bring the whole group out here!" like whoa slow down...this family we just met are obviously psychos, c'mon!

  • buuuuuut if the Stranger hadn't lost Adam, he wouldn't have left the car unattended. Thus, fuck the Stranger!

  • I think it would have been interesting if he'd lived.

  • "if Mark had lived at the Dairy"

Well, Im guessing he wouldnt last much longer, considering he had no legs. He would have probably died during the bandit attack and definitely would have died in the Savannah streets
