I am really hoping they keep Pete around longer, I liked his character and he helped Luke save you, so I really want him to stick around, I can tell he is going to die though because of what happens when you go with Nick
My thoughts: carver's group kills whole cabin group execept rebecca because carver is father of her child. Then carver's group takes rebecca and clementine hostages. That's explains why rebecca and clementine are in somekinda cell on episode 3 slide. Then rebecca starts to giving the birth and clementine must to help her and carver watch it next to them and he don't help them because he is evil psycho.

Brilliant thread, way better than argues like
-IT'S LILEH!
-NOEP, ITS KENNEH!
I love talking with someone about TWD's plot. Well, personally I'm really interested in the question ''Where did the adults go?'' asked by other reader before in this thread. Wouldn't it be too...uh, dangerous, to leave two young girls alone? And I'm sure they left because they would open door themselves while being present. And when they're back, Clem and Sarah are telling them that someone was knocking to the door. Mysterious!
I really hope Pete will survive thanks to cutting his leg fast enough. He's, without a doubt, my favourite character.
What happens to Nick/Pete:
While saving Pete, Nick runs to the forest. It's most probably death penalty anyway, he can't survive very long without ammo which he will probably waste. Pete will for sure cut his leg and that's confirmed, I believe he will survive the bit...or just survive few episodes.
While saving Nick, Pete dies horribly and Nick runs away with Clem back into the cabin. Our friend will start to drink because he practically lost all his family. I don't know will he die from alcohol poisoning, I really doubt it, but as someone said, ''drunk people do dumb things''.
I will be checking this thread very often because I like it, and that was my theory. Not very original, I copied other people's lines but always something. ^^
Agreed. I'd love to see TellTale work like that and have the character different based off of season one, but just watch, and it'll turn up to be the water guy (Sorry don't know names). I sure hope that Lilly turns up however.
I think the guy who came to the door might be the father of Rebecca's child since Clementine said he was looking for her specifically. Remembe… morer she said in the bathroom "let it be his". This is probably going to cause conflict with her and Alvin.
Also, I predict that Clementine will try to befriend Sarah, but her father will get upset. In the kitchen, he's mad that Clementine "manipulated" his daughter into helping her. He tells her to stay away from her. He's trying to make sure she has a sheltered life and doesn't know how bad the world is. But I think that because he hides the world from her instead of teaching her how to use a gun and survive that ultimately she's going to get bitten and die. And he will probably blame it on Clementine for "showing her the world" or something.
As for the "I thought you were dead" person, I don't think it's Christa, but I do hope she is alive. It seems like a bold decision to kill off the two remaining original characters (besides Clementine) so quickly like that.
Just my thoughts.
I feel that if Pete survives his amputation, we will encounter a reanimated Nick(possibly stuck into something), have an emotional scene, manly tears, Pete either:
Takes his life
Continues on as a broken man
The evidence is pointing to the first option but it is likely that Pete were just cut out of the trailer.
It would surely be an emotional scene, but I don't know. We have seen not too much about the Pete-Nick relation. We know they both care about each others but the circumstances forces them to be rude. I think that a scene like that should be like in episode 3,to get the player more affected to the characters. And kill Nick just now would be throwing away his character. I think that if you save Nick he's get depressed,he doesn't dies but he's too much tired and in poorly mentally condictions to go with the other to the mountain,so the group left him in the house as a guard. Same thing whit Pete, but that's because he can't reach the mountains with only one feet.

The thing is though, it is HIGHLY likely that they are relocating. They are bringing Sarah to the mountains for god's sake :P I don't think the group would leave Nick/Pete behind to guard a cabin that they aren't going to be needing for any longer.

I gotta agree with Someguy12. Victor was really messed up. He looked very pale and was thirsty, both indication of low blood volume. Also, he could barely speak and had who knows how many bullet wounds. Even if you don't take into account any infections he would probably get if he were to be rescued, he is in a terrible state.
So, basically, he shouldn't be coming back, in my opinion. If he does, it would just be to make us feel like that choice mattered (and the choice felt important to me regardless of whether it has consequences or not), but it would make very little sense. Still, it's fiction so who knows?
But that would mean killing a bunch of characters who have some established backstory (even if only a little) and wasting time in future episodes to introduce and explain new characters.

True but he was pale, could barely speak, and had multiple bullet wounds. Clem also just left him there while walkers poured out of the woods. I think it was an unrelated choice, I think people are latching onto him because of the Stranger in season 1. If he does reappear later it will not be in episode 2, the likely hood of him being in robbing condition a few days laters in the mountains located several miles away is very very low. It would be horrible writing to bring him back so soon if at all.
The only problem I have with that theory is that Pete and Nick didn't seem to notice the man come back OR Clem giving him water. If this is the case, then it's almost guaranteed that Victor and Clementine will cross paths again.
Is there a possibility that those 2 armed people belong to tavia's camp? I know that ep2 picture shows carver and the other guy (forgot his name) but maybe we find tavia's camp not carver's and whoever clem saw was rescued by them, maybe this will sound crazy but i think there might be a chance that tavia's group and carvers group are in war, that would be a nice explanation for amid ruins picture (ep 4 name correct me if im mistaken) some people see eddie and/or vince maybe clem joined tavia's group and thats why we see them in the same team, also i think pete and nick are alive maybe they are upstairs, nick attending pete cos of the amputation, but still its hard to believe he made it safe and sound with 1 leg all the way tru the forest
But that would mean killing a bunch of characters who have some established backstory (even if only a little) and wasting time in future episodes to introduce and explain new characters.
I think the fact that Sarah is coming with them proves the fact that the Cabin survivors are relocating because of whatever that man said. Will update OP shortly.
what if it's the stranger who kidnapped clem and he wasn't really dead?!?!
...j/k
the more I read people's opinions the more confused i get. I suppose it could be kenny but I don't want it to be because i feel like his arc is done. He has nothing more to live for really.
Maybe it'd be one of the 400 days characters like tavia or something who we find out knew clem in the past? very long stretch I suppose but I'm trying to think of all the possibilities here.
anyway, one question i don't think you touched upon was what will come of promising to be sarah's friend? and what is actually wrong with her?
Actually, this watch thing intrigued me. I replayed whole episode because I was translating it into Polish and when I stole this watch again, I thought it's going to be mega important. I don't know how, but I have a feeling that will be crazy important to show this watch to someone. Huh, I wanna know what will it be.
Better theory(your choice )the Amid the ruins picture/slide is like Clementine is in the middle of a choice where she can either go to Carvers group that might be some of the people on the left of clem or Tavias community wich might be on the right of clem (the sides that are near clem not the sides we see eg Eddie is on the right of ours) .

An interesting thread this one. Makes me want the episode even more! There are just so many unanswered questions. Well, the rest of the season will hopefully answer them all for us.
I'm hoping that Kenny or Lilly show up, and also a few 400 Days characters, especially Shel and Vince. But who knows at this stage. I think we will find that Telltale will pleasantly surprise us.
I'm still wondering what Luke and Clem are doing there, maybe they went to find Nick? Or what remained from Pete? Or did they went to clear the path to the mountains?

Quite a dark theory... perfect for Telltale!

If you save Pete,Nick runs in the woods, but he's in the house river side,so there's a chance he might save himself.
Aww thanks, it means a lot. I actually put work into this thread, unlike many of my other posts xD

Yeah,Sarah,I totally forgot that she was heading to the mountains too. So,ehm...Who f'n knows ? It might be how you said. We'll see soon (hopefully).

I hope Clementine joins some crazy bandits

Is it weird that I can actually imagine that?

Look at this!
Obvious fake is obvious :P

Yeah, maybe not the whole group, but someone of them.
Converse for da weeen!!
It's... certainly possible, but if they are, I think we will find out in episode 3 or 4.

yeah really what is the point of stealing watch
Some people have offered a few ideas, I'll list the few I can off the top of my head:
It's Nick's mom's watch.
It will be used as some sort of bribery to get supplies, or to possibly save a survivor.
The group will distrust more because they found out Clem stole the watch.
Actually, this watch thing intrigued me. I replayed whole episode because I was translating it into Polish and when I stole this watch again, I thought it's going to be mega important. Clem does NOT know anything of the 400 days characters (maybe im wrong).she cant think that one of em is dead .
Unless we get some serious bonding with Carver's group, I think most people will go for Tavia's group.
Updated with 3 new screenshots.
