Clementine's parents

edited January 2014 in The Walking Dead

So if you finished episode one then you know what happened to Clem's parents. I was just thinking how do you think they would have reacted to lee if they were alive. For the sake if this discussion lets say lee lived also. I think that they would be grateful he kept her safe for so long, but once Clem told them about everything she has seen....I don't know how they would react. Would they push lee away and try to keep Clem away from him too?

  • In my opinion, if Clem's parents were alive, their reaction would be determinant. Clementine would tell them all about their adventures. She'd tell them they encountered cannibals and she ate/didn't eat human meat, that you killed/didn't kill the St. John brothers, that you stole/didn't steal from the station wagon, that you were mean/nice to her. Y'know, simple stuff. Their reaction would be a glad that their daughter is okay, and then their reaction to Lee would just depend on how you played.

  • Think welcome Lee as a hero lets remember Clem left in a house by herself with house of walkers Lee fed her and kept her spirits up and moved her constantly to safety always talking to her in respectful manner and watched her 24/7 i think Lee was saint and parents with thank Lee and if choose right options nothing really what happened to Clem was Lee fault directly there not living in disneyworld things were always bound to happen all that matters would be clems survival to parents

  • Probably, I mean he did kill a person.. and taught Clementine how to shoot a gun. But they could also be grateful that he taught Clementine how to protect herself. I'd say they'd be ambivalent.

  • There reaction towards lee would no doubt be dependent on the players choices in previous episodes, some players made lee good, some bad. Above all else they would probably be thankfull that lee took care of her. Even if they did reunite, i dont think lee would suddenly just leave, something tells me lee would stay with clem and her parents. Rather then continue on with the others, assuming clems parents didnt want to go with the others.
