The boy who cried wolf. THEORY CONFIRMED [SPOILERS]
Hello The Wolf Among us players!
In this discussion i want to confirm the possible murderer theory.
Many people think that the murderer is this guy, considered the boy who cryed wolf :
Goo see the Theory Thread to read all the clues.
I'm here to confirm that :
- He isn't a re-used model
- It's an important character
- We are going to see him possibly till episode 5
- He's a suspect for the murderers.
- He met Bigby Wolf before.
How am i going to confirm it?
BOOM http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/cryer-3197.html
BOOOOM HE'S NAME IS CRYER!
-He has a name, so it's not a re-used model and he is veeeery important, just look at episode 5 (Cry Wolf)
-So we will maybe see him till episode 5 cause of the episode name "Cry Wolf"
He's always on the crime scene, so he's a suspect (personally i don't think is the murderer)
If you know his past, you know why he met Bigby Wolf before
May this be the cause of episode 2 delay? They are changing the story because many people figured out who is the murderer? (But i don't think it's possible)

Damn, nice find.
Damn good
That Link isnt working anymore, but if you write "Cryer The Wolf Among Us 3D Model" on google you will find some pics.
Case Closed.
No motive...
Case opened...
What is his motive?
I agree with Ohyoupokedme. I think it's likely that he's The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and the fact that he's everywhere makes him suspicious. But we have no established motive and there is no proof that he carried out any murders. Suspicious doesn't equal guilty. I'm hoping that we get to actually talk to this character soon. Only one episode out of 5 so far, I'm sure that there will be plenty more twists and turns. Maybe we've figured out his identity, but I think the case is still wide open.
Maybe his motive is to fuck with Bigby, after eating him and all. He seems to make Crane fucking despise him, as the title card for episode three shows, where Beauty is trailing Bigby while she holds a gun and wears a badge that reads: "Fabletown Police."

How can he be at two places at once?
Well, I'm pretty sure that the girl is not Beauty. She's wearing an NYPD badge. But, my thought is, why would he mess with Bigby now? Fabletown has existed since the days when New York was New Amsterdam. Bigby and the other fables have been in the mundane world for around 400 years. Why, after so many centuries, would he choose now to try to mess up his life?
I know... mind blown.
3d Models help a lot..

Hell, for all we know, he could actually be helping Bigby in some way. If Telltale knew their audience, then they would know better than to reveal the killer in the first episode. He may be involved, but the killer? I doubt that.
May be his sheep?
it can't be all models from episode 2, cause the restored lawrence isn't there, but only the injured model, so i hope we get to see more characters from the comics
This guy is definitely implicated in the plot in some way I think we can all agree on that. However it is still way too early to confirm the identity of the killer, we haven't even played the second episode yet. This is a noir thriller, I expect at least a few red herrings before we find the real culprit.
She's not wearing an NYPD badge, unless the whole city started going by Fabletown, which, given the historical roots of the name, is not likely. Anyways, to answer your question, why not? Maybe he was too poor before to even get food on his table. Maybe he didn't hate Bigby quite as much yet. All the business with Snow White might have been what set him off. And he decided to go after someone that he hated more than the rest of them, Bigby.
The badge prop says NYPD police:

Anyway, interesting thoughts as far as why he'd mess with Bigby now. We do know that since Fables are near immortals they have very long memories and tend to hold grudges (Colin said as much in the game). But, why would he kill Faith then? It's not like she meant very much to Bigby. Not that we know of, anyway. And if he did do all of this because he was poor and disenfranchised, why not go after the rich fables? Why a fable who had fallen on hard times like Faith? Anyway, I don't really know what to think. Just throwing some ideas around, playing Devil's Advocate.
That's not Beauty man. That's a Mundy.
The title card, though. It clearly says Fabletown Police in the title card. Why not go back and look at it again?
Just checked. It says NYPD.
You better go back and look at it again.
Weird, they must have changed it. I clearly remember it saying Fabletown in a curly font.
No. They can't have their own police force. So you saw it wrong dude. They are just a society not a country.
Well they could, and a badge could give us a lot to think about, without having any real meaning. The badge is very able to exist.
No. Their society is accepted by New Amsterdam or New York, but no mundies know they are fables. So it's impossible. They have Security Officier(a Troll ) in the Woodlands, and he always sleep.
No, it's possible. The badge could just be for the game to tell us what is going on. Tell us that Beauty is trailing Bigby (and yeah, the character model is different, too), and Crane doesn't trust Bigby at all.
Beauty can't handle things like that. I'm sure that Crane doesn't trust Bigby, but Beauty can't handle a secret mission.
Well. Whatever was going on, it's definitely different now.
Considering how Telltale loves to reuse their models I think this whole "The Ginger did it." theory is plausible at best.
Because they have no souls?
Someone already confirmed this in another thread ...because someone pointed out the symbols on his shirt
Like snow has snow flakes ...he has rooks ( I think it's called that?)
I think throughout the game Telltale will keep teasing that this guys is involved with the murders somehow yet at the end we will find out he was just trying to help
You are correct hell
It would never be beauty ...she already has a job lol
This character I think appears in two ..maybe because bigby is getting framed for the murders and someone wants him out of the picture "Bluebeard" ...who else to do that but the cryer? But then a Mundy (the cop) starts looking into it as well..
Again these are my theories on this I'm sure once it's released minds will be blown and we'll be left questioning characters motives .
Wait, I just realized, if they aren't allowed to have a police force, then why the hell is Bigby called a Sheriff? Sheriff's sole job is to work the police force.
Fabletown has its own police force which consists of just Bigby. He's all they need. The policewoman is DEFINITELY not Beauty.
It seemed like it was before they changed the title card.
Only Fables call him Sheriff. Humans don't know it. It's secret, Humans don't know that "Woodlands" is "Fabletown" and they are real fables. And fables calls him sheriff because he solves problems or cases, with his own and he tries to be very careful about humans.
damn.he is look like a dumb ass
So what exactly is stopping Crane from hiring a deputy? Absolutely nothing.
First, being Sheriff is important and serious job. Only few fables can handle it, may be 2 or 3.
Second, he is Deputy Major. And he scared of Bigby.
Third, Crane is an idiot.
