  • I don't know how to respond to this.

  • The walking dead is all about normal people trying to survive. Asians, Hispanics, African-Americans, all are normal people.

  • Yh you're right racism doesn't even exist in TTG dictionary .

Hahaha I find it funny that he got all the love when he made a thread about race. When I made a thread about Clem being African-American from Wiki I had the whole community on my ass. Nobody cares about what race or color the people in the game are. They can care less about race. They just make games with characters that's awesome and stuff. This is the type of threads that get people banned like that other person I will not mention. Mods please close this thread it's so stupid. Why would TTG need to be Anti-Racism? They have no intent to make characters based on race. They just make great games. Leave the Religious and race thoughts out of this community they don't belong here.

  • I was One of the few who didn't give you shit for that thread , Yet people sometimes think I complain too much about the stupid posts some people make , but for the record I didn't have a problem with yours and I don't have a problem with this one , Its good for a few seconds of distraction ( At least this guy is not mocking Paul Walker or posting links to shitty movies)

  • I like the fact that this game follows my philosophy about race: I don't give a fuck about it. All I care about is how you act.

  • Umm, does that mean crazy shit comes from YOUR mouth as well?

Don't mean to insult you, or anything.

    I'M from Florida!

  • Same here. Race doesnt come into it at all. As long as the person treats me with respect, I will do the same, no matter what colour you are.

  • It's funny because from the moment I played TWD I never cared that I was playing a black character and didn't give it much notice until the whole "urban" scene

  • So are gay people and lesbians though, and telltale hasn't shown one of them in any capacity at all.

If having multiple races makes you non-racist, doesn't that make telltale homophobic by this threads definition?

The walking dead is all about normal people trying to survive. Asians, Hispanics, African-Americans, all are normal people.

  • Agreed. It's a shame that telltale doesn't follow that exact same philosophy for sexuality.

The people on this forum don't tend to agree.

A while ago there was a thread suggesting diverse sexual identities. The reaction on this forum was very negative; the words 'disgusting' and 'faggot' were passed around more times than I care to remember.

Just as a heads up, the F word is just as offensive as the N word.

And instead of just disliking my comments, I would prefer people to reply and say why I am wrong.

I genuinely don't understand how racism is worse than homophobia: they both discriminate on people based on things outside of their control.

Feel free to comment and tell me why this is wrong, because I am pretty damn tired of people disliking every single anti-homophobia post I make.

It's really rather depressing. People have no idea how horrible it feels to be called a faggot or disgusting like that.

  • I think the purpose of that scene was partially for entertainment, and to highlight how little race actually mattered.

  • I wouldnt take it to heart. A lot of people just say things to be provocative and being that this is a gaming forum, I would say that a lot of posters are probably very young. Dont let it bother you.

  • It's sad that you were called a faggot and I hope it was all trolls and not real TWD fans. As for portaying homosexuality in the game, it might be a matter of time. I mean, there isn't much dating in it. Season 1 had Kenny and Katjaa and Omid and Christa, but that's it. Several characters don't display any attraction to either sex. And, even today, many people may want to hide their sexuality out of fear of rejection, so you may have someone who's gay but is afraid to come out. Also, in the comics, there's been two gay couples already. So, like I said, it's probably a matter of time.

I thought that all racism stuff ended after WWII? So why the hell are we even talking about this?!

But, really I thought it ended with this guy:

  • If that were true, then no one would know who Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nelson Mandela are. Hitler opened our eyes on the dangers of racist view, but, sadly, that wasn't the end of it.

  • I was just a little bit sarcastic. But, really it is 2014, it is no longer 1950s or 1960s I thought that we were done with this racist stuff.

  • I know. And I feel the same way, but it's not uncommon to see people stick to stereotypes or to see a minority in a movie simply as token. Specially in the horror genre! People called out the "black dude first" rule twenty years ago and we are still seeing it!

To clarify, I'm not asking for a gay couple in the game, just a gay person. No dating involved.

In season 1 we had: Carley, Katjaa, Kenny, Glenn, Clem's parents, Brenda, Danny, Larry, omid, christa, leland, dee, Wyatt and eddie.

All straight or at least bi, literally not one gay. Which is, actually, unrealistic.
