New Theory: Winston's group gets ambushed by Carver's group. Christa is alive

i was replaying episode for like my 500th time and found out that maybe the guy's who were about to kill Christa may have gotten ambushed by Carver's group or someone else using a rifle.
The proof is in the audio. Both Victor and Ralph are carrying handguns but the shot that can be heard after Clementine starts running comes from a rifle.
Conclusion: Christa is alive.

Plus if you fail to escape Winston, they end up just killing Clementine because one of the scavengers say that some other group was following them. Christa confirmed.

When Katjaa goes into the woods to shoot Duck in Long Road Ahead, she only has a pistol, but you hear the sound if a rifle. Just reusing sounds, man.

This would explain Victor also. Only one gunshot so only Ralph or Victor is shot. Then Victor runs, Christa and Carver's group follow (Christa in case Clem was captured by Winston)Days after, Victor is shot in the river with his group. Or Ralph runs with Christa to his group, Carver's group run after them and then the river massacre began

And perhaps Roman was the leader of the bandit group Clem and Christa were attacked by. Would explain why he was killed execution style. Carver could have ambushed them and saved Christa.
Maybe there's a flashback of her going into labour to explain what happened to the baby
