    Actually, Michael7123 disproved this.

"Omid" is a Persian word for "Hope". Hope was shot trying to protect Clem from a robber. So, yes, Telltale CAN and HAS taken Hope away.

You hold onto that hope. It's the one thing that TellTale can't take away from you.

  • Good one. Almost forgot about that thread about his name. Well played, sir!

  • I don't see clem as the Villain, what i see, is someone who has lost everything, struggleing against the tide that is this dark world, she has got to do whatever it takes to survive. Sure, she has made mistakes, we all do, its a fact of life. The fact is no matter what she does, we "the player" are gonna do everything in our power to help her, and keep her safe and guide her. We will stand by her side no matter what, at whatever cost. Why you ask? because its what Lee would have done, and none of us want lees sacrifices to be invain.

So no, i don't see her as a villain, i see her as someone who is living amid the ruins of this world, a world where there is no going back, and soon, no time left, the dead walk around every corner, and its more important now then ever to not trust anyone.

That, is why i don't see clem as a villain, but if she is anything, she is the last good thing that was brought into this world, and we have to make sure she survives, for as long as possible, not just becuase we like her, but for lee, and everything he has done, we can't let his sacrifices be for nothing, we can't.

  • Awesome take, man. Without a doubt I'm rooting for Clementine all the way.

  • I never realized this before now. That 20 second scene conveys a hell of a lot went down after that time skip. Like most scenes in Telltales TWD I guess, you really have to pay attention and think about ALL the implications, there's usually more than one. I guess at the time I was distracted by the implication of Christa's baby being dead, and I figured that Clem was just down about the baby and Omid still. But yeah, embittered and cynical Christa looking after you for 2 years, just as much out of duty to the two friends who's death Clem had indirectly caused as out of care for Clem herself, that will change you all right. Considering Clem probably felt immensely guilty about both Omid, the baby, (who probably died due to Omid not being there), Lee, Ben, and Kenny, and had no-one to talk about to it but Christa, who was completely emotionally closed off, as seen from the campfire scene. DAMN. Clem must have a mountain unresolved guilt locked away in there somewhere. Not to mention not having anyone to talk to about her parents...

  • There is a scene, we saw Clem get some of her pent up guilt out when she was talking to Luke. Wonder if we will get a scene where it comes pouring out, I doubt it since everyone at this point just buries it deeper and deeper... but it would be interesting.

  • I'd love to see a scene like that. Maybe if Christa and Clementine ever regroup again then we'll have an option to say something about it.

  • That would be the perfect time to do it, if Christa was done being so emotionally closed off that is, although even if she was still closed off it would make for an interesting experience... Clem tries dearly to clear her concious only to be shrugged off by one of the only people who might be willing and able to understand... I'd cry lol.

I want it to be Kenny more, but I would still love it to be Lilly (or at some point see her) so Clem can call her shit out on killing Carley or Doug/trying to kill Ben. Remember that in season 1, Clementine really likes Carley, Doug, and Ben if they survive, and she see's Lilly kill and attempt to kill them right in front of her. Just realized. That child saw an adult she respected get their head blown off right in front of her. Damn. Like Lee and Katjaa said, the girl is difficult to read, her mind is like a puzzle. Clementine does tend to shut down communication when she is upset as seen in season 1, so yeah Clementine expressing her feelings to anyone is sadly unlikely.

  • Lee is deader than Horus, no way he's making it back. Regardless of the ending you picked, telltale puts Lee's 'death rattle' at the end, immediately after fading (or flashing if Clem shoots Lee) the screen to black to confirm it to the player. That must of been hard for Dave Fennoy to record, considering he and Melissa Hutchison said they had to take breaks from recording every now and then throughout the making of episode 5 because of all of the emotion.

I'm still trying to figure out if there's anyone that she even knew other than Lee, Kenny, and Lily that could make their appearance in Episode 2.
