  • We will use the watch to travel back in time and prevent the deaths of the characters from season 1.

  • I think if you stole it, they will find out at some point and won´t trust you anymore (even less than at this point)

  • A crazy theory, but maybe -just maybe-... it's used to tell what time it is.

Or alternatively, they just stuck it in there to see what the players would do. It might affect the survivors' trust of Clem later on. Maybe we're looking too much into a watch.

  • I'd like to see it used as a bargaining chip, even in this world people like shiny things. Might be interesting to have to pull it out infront of the cabin member who it actually belongs to, so you have to face them afterwards? Idk just a thought.

  • Now Carlos will Hate you for "manipulating" his daughter , Telling him she needs to grow up , Taking his supplies , And stealing his watch . ( And we thought Larry and Lee had a strained relationship)

Would be funny if it turned out to be the "Station Wagon" of Season 2. The descisions that has the most weight in the series.

Jaw dropper stuff, and it would be too funny to take seriously.

  • Yes their will be use of watch in ongoing episodes

  • They should make it a reverse one, where, if you TOOK the watch, you can use it so save someone in Episode 5. Just to mess with us.

Back to the Future crossover FTW :P
I wonder if they still have licencing rights to make another Back to the Future game.

Seriously though I think if you take the watch someone is going to lose their trust of Clem. Honestly besides telling the time what else will Clem need a watch for?

That would be really interesting. I'm dying to know how the hell can a watch be used to save someone's life XD.

I'm trying to think of scenarios that involve the watch besides, stealing this watch will make the group not trust you so I came out with the following:

What if the watch we found was actually stolen by the person who hid it in their drawer and then we get blamed for stealing it in the first place when we steal it ourselves.

  • I have absolutely no idea. Heh.

That would be really interesting. I'm dying to know how the hell can a watch be used to save someone's life XD.

  • Telltale might do something like throw players off and create a scenario in which a survivor of the group goes back to the cabin for their watch (it's a prized keepsake?) and get killed by bandits on the way. If Clem took it, you can opt to show the watch, and concurrently, not make them go back to the cabin. They'll be pissed you stole it, but they'll be alive.

  • it might just be like the one Lee had in S1. Might be a tourniquent for Pete or it could be a time machine.

  • That's a fantastic idea.

Well, the way they wrote Season 1, there was no universally negative choices, someone always appreciated it or not
I would say in the end, taking the stuff from the station wagon was a positive, because it pissed off that bastard just a bit more.

Anyway, MY theory is that youre going to have to leave the house in a rush (and then head for the hills like in the teaser. I think if you didnt take the watch, whoever it belonged to will lament not having it for some situation and also miss having it.

If you did steal the watch, I think the owner will lament not having it and Clem will hand it over, thus getting you a mixed reaction of her having stole it, but the owner would appreciate getting back, while being suspicious of her for having taken it in the first place.

  • I don't know. The group was kind of on edge when they found the car. If the Stranger and his family had gotten there no one knows what could have gone down. Hopefully, they would've voluntarily joined the Motor Inn survivors but it could've also ended in tragedy...

  • Can the parts of the watch be used to make something? Maybe a character similar to Doug can fix something using the additional parts.

"Looks like lee's wristwatch" yay im gonna take it so maybe i can see it later and remember him, hoenstly that was the reason i took it, looks like lees wristwatch but i dunno maybe the battery can be used to start a fire

  • Now THAT's a good idea. Or it could be like that sparkplug thing from episode 1, where the sparkplug itself was completely useless but the porcelain inside it wasn't.

  • Maybe she is gonna wear it and copy Lee or something

  • Hello Sarah. I'm Clementine. We were fighting zombies, remember? I was a good friend of your dad's. I got somethin' for ya. This watch I got here was purchased by your daddy before zombie apocalypse. Later, when we were captured by Carver's people, Carlos knew it'd be taken away. He hid it in one place he knew he could hide something - his ass. Two long episodes he wore this watch up his ass. Then your father died from dog bite. He gave me the watch. I hid this hunk of metal up my ass another two episodes. Now, my friend, I give the watch to you.

Going back to a dangerous place to get a meaningful watch kinda reminded me of Pulp Fiction .

  • I think it will just be a situation of Carlos and others won't trust you if you stole it.

  • They should have waited, its what I would have done had i been in charge. I would have waited, and either asked them to join us or offerd some kind of trade for some of the food, offer them some guns or ammo or something?

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon you."
