You only get to meet that character depending on the players choice to leave during the day or night, in this case, you choose to wait until night to leave, had you have left during the day, you wouldnt even know he existed.
Really? She met him almost 2 years ago and also it was determinant. Maybe TTG will surprise us and we will meet him or Chet (Shawn Friend) depending on our action
But Clementine is really amazed and she just can't say "I thought you were dead" to someone like that. But it would be funny.
It can't be Andre. Many players, myself included, chose to leave during the daytime after we killed Sandra. Andre only appears if you leave at night. In many games, Clem has never even met Andre, let alone gotten to know him well enough to remember him for two years.

He was cool looking officer dude it would nice to see him in season 2 but i higly doubt it. especially 'i thought you were dead' scenario, cause that would be super idiotic thing to do. Like we as a player would get invested about Chet or Mitchell hwo Lee had one line in that 4 minute sequence.
Even if it was one of the worst days of her life, I doubt Clem will remember meeting a guy (Andre or Chet) for an hour 2 years before. Also, I think her reaction would be different. She'd probably be less surprised.
