Anyone know what all the ruckus is about lately with the Steam Database and The Walking Dead: Season Two? Apparently the game downloaded something in the meanwhile. Do we know what it did to the game yet?

I noticed the same. Not sure what that is about, but it can just be a minor bug fix.

Edit: I noticed my update showed that it was 4.5mb

Telltale just made another change in the database.

    Changed changenumber – 374736 › 377436

  • On the FAQ page, changenumber is defined as:

"When an application or package changes, Steam sends out a "changelist" to notify all Steam clients that something changed."

I see. Well, that happend 14 hours ago. But the so called patch_01 was downloaded to the clients days ago.

  • EPISODE 2 HYPE

  • "Build IDs are updated when a new "build" of an application is pushed. This means actual content has updated because of a patch"

I think the update 14 hours ago might just be a general steam backend update as lots of apps updated at the same time as even a completely random app like "Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club Code" updated at the same time.

  • ...Of course. That's what patches are there for, right? ;)

  • True but the patches in Gta Online can really fuck you over sometimes.
