Because it contradicts Telltale's previous statements, go on their AMA on Reddit if you want a hint at their release schedule, it's not at all what you're thinking.
I'm confused. Why do folks think that the polygon article is not legit?

The conveyor belt system of developing episodes makes perfect sense with how slow TTG has pushed out updates. Maybe over time that core team referenced in the article above will get moving faster but I find it completely legit that TTG has a single core team of developers working on one project at a time.
On another note I miss the good old days of how TTG used to interact with the fan base. They were a fun company to follow and interacted with customers by posting what seemed like actual conversations.

Wolf comes out Feb 4. I'd say it isn't unreasonable to expect TWD 2 or 3 weeks after. Each episode of TWD and WAU takes 4-6 to make, right? So I would imagine we would get them on roughly 3 week intervals. Wolf next week, TWD 3 weeks after that, WAU 3 weeks after that, and so on until both games are complete.

That was 3 months ago, they also said back then they were working on TWAU ep3 and 4 and TWD ep1 and 2. He also says monthS so hopefully that gives us TWAU ep3 and TWD ep3 both in April.
I played the first season in a span of a few days and it was great. I liked it so much that I picked up the first episode of season 2 and played through it in a day about a week after it released. Looking back on things, I kind of regret doing that. At this point in time, I barely even remember all of the decisions I made or all the little subtle things that occurred in the last episode. If the next episode doesn't release until late February or March, I'll probably have to replay Season 2 Ep.1 just so I can play catch up.
IMHO This whole strategy of releasing episodic games only works if the release dates are kind of close to each other. If you wait too long, things get blurry and the overall story looses value. 2-4 weeks tops should be the ideal wait period...anything longer is just too much time. Not only do people end up forgetting a lot of things that occurred in the previous episode, they also run out of ideas and topics to talk about.
If the next episode doesn't end up releasing until March, I think it will be fair to say that Telltale has obviously over-extended themselves.
Gavin Hammon, who does the voice of Kenny tweeted that he had the "Longest session of my career today, 9:30 - 6! Hopefully in a few months I can say what for..."
...Dude. I only have about 125 hours on Season One, and nine hours on Season Two...
How is this even possible? For just one episode? Do you re-play the episode twice every day? I have re-played Season One around ten times, including 400 Days, and still only got up to 125 hours...

Yeah, now when you mention it. I left Hitman Absolution running in the background while on the internet. Forgot to exit the game, and it went up on two more hours. It is possible however, as All That Remains released about 46 days ago, but humanly impossible.
Probably just left it on, running in the background.
798 hours =
33.25 days
Either that or Steam is messing something up. I noticed my game times varying quite a lot at one point.
Not gonna read through all the comments, so someone may have said this, but I think Kenny is highly probably because the rule for walking dead is that if you don't see a main character die then never presume they are dead. This goes for the series, comics and the game!

Why months? He should've said days, or hours.

Sorry, it was just that I've been having problems lately. And I never bought any of the first season's episodes until it came in disc, when they started Season 2 I was so excited and impatient that I went to by the season pass. You love something so much you tend to get impatient. PS: I've played any other Telltale game because I only can afford so much and there are other games coming out that I like, hopefully I can play wolf among us, so yeah. And FreddeN93i guess I can agree, just slightly new to Telltale. Hope we're cool.
Six weeks is crazy optimistic, as a Telltale fan you should've been aware that they would never release in that time frame at first. Some epis… moreodes do release that quickly but six weeks is not the ideal wait time. It's more like 4-8 weeks.
I would go do something else if you can't wait, by the time you check back here then the episode will be out. For Season 2's premiere I just heard about it on the radio and thought, "Oh yeah, that comes out today! Better go play it!"

That pretty much confirms it is Kenny not like we didn't already know that though. It looks like the February 18th release date is starting to look alot more likely now as the voice work will likely be done by the time wolf episode 2 comes out and I wouldn't look to deep into what he said about months given how secretive Telltale is about release dates and how long it took Wolf episode 2 to ocme out.

Gavin loves teasing people who ask questions about Kenny and giving answers that don't reveal anything so it could be likely that he is doing it deliberately.
Pretty much the likely upcoming dates for A House Divided would be the 11th, 13th, 18th, and 20th. Worst case scenario 25th, or 27th. However, I don't think it will have time to become March before we get the episode, judging by Kevin's statement about the delay. I don't think they can afford another major delay imho.
It was lame on the show when the governor made it out of that warehouse where he was surrounded by dozens of zombies and it would be equally lame if Kenny made it out of either of the situations that he gets into at the end of season 1. He should be dead.

as a Telltale fan you should've been aware that they would never release in that time frame....REALLY? So because I have been fan of these games i should expect shity service because its TT? Is the bar for consumers really this low?

The game didn't state Kenny died in the stats menu for No Time Left. All other characters who died during the season was clearly marked as Dead. However, Kenny was marked as Lost. If you know Kirkman's The Walking Dead universe; a character who are presumably dead, but we never got to see his or her death scene, then that character doesn't count as dead. They always tend to return in one way or another.

Seems like we can really get TWD EP2 shortly after TWAU EP2.
A house Divided for Feb confirmed? Hopefully it will be Feb 19 like someone previously posted.

Actually February 18th as i've stated and as other people have too it is the most realistic date at this point.

I just played All That Remains for the fifth time. Yeah, I could use A House Divided sooner rather than later.

You gotta step it up

April? Maybe for upcoming episodes after In Harm's Way, and A Crooked Mile. Our best bet for A House Divided now however is February 18.
Re-read my comment. I'm talking about episode 3 of both games
Lol you i can notice you didn't have to wait for season 1
Probably just left it on, running in the background.

Well, nice try though @Antero
tuesdays or fridays
it probably is 15-25 february

It suggests that he's not talking about Kenny. Though he may be doing that deliberately.

Damn you're right, they used to be very active in the forum.

what's yours?
Gavin MIGHT be referring to TWD, but the word "months" (plural) could mean we won't actually see Kenny resurface until episode 4 or 5.
That pretty much confirms it is Kenny not like we didn't already know that though. That would suck
Oh please no.Kenny better be in episode 2
Gavin loves teasing people who ask questions about Kenny and giving answers that don't reveal anything so it could be likely that he is doing it deliberately.
that would well and truly suck if he didn't appear in Ep2 but he probably won't till later as you've said
I'm hoping for 11th February release
