  • I give it a 8/10 because it seemed like it doesn't matter whether you saved Prince Lawrence or not (i saved him), and he didn't play a role in all this, despite his wife was the first to be murdered.

  • I sure hope Lawrence will show up (saved him too) in another episode !

  • I feel like choices are having a much smaller impact, no Lilly shooting andy and saving my ass, too short for the time I waited and with the problems with the xbox season pass it left a sour taste in my mouth... 7/10

  • Yes most of the people saying its not good because its very small in length and also their is one fight only in this episode with beast...after four months delayed i dont except this is going to happen ...i am very sad about it but its okay to play

  • Its good i give 8.5/10 thou i had some glitches during playthrought

  • I completely agree, choices seem to matter less which means less replay value and at length of only 1h it seems very light. Unfortunately confirms my fears that TWAU is not a priority for telltale right now....

  • I want to give it a higher score, because I did enjoy it, but if I'm honest I have to give it a 7.

There were glitches, and the whole thing didn't seem to flow that well. It felt unpolished and like content had been cut. Stuff like stuttering animations, music being cut off at weird times, various minor bugs, silence instead of music in situations where it seemed like there should be establishment of atmosphere, etc.

  • Yes you are right

  • I think lawrence will show up in episode 3

  • There's actually a small fight with Bluebeard. The devs could've expanded on that a bit.

    [9/10]
Great story and characterization. But a few minor glitches.

I would give it a 8.5. I loved the idea's implemented in this episode, but the hour and a half length left me a bit disappointed compared to episode 1 which was about 2 hours. I hope we get at least one episode in the season that is longer than 2 hours like episode 4 of The Walking Dead. Despite this I loved the short time I had with Smoke and mirrors.

  • episode 1 for me was a 10/10. This episode I'd give an 8.5 or 9. Should have been longer and Lawrence should have at least been mentioned. but not a huge deal for me that he wasn't. I figured he'd off himself anyway once he found out she was dead and not just missing.

  • can I coin the term "short" as a review?

  • No, I own the trademark for that word. XD

I'll have to double-check, but I think you can go the whole ep without talking to TJ? I delayed talking to him first and second times, and it wasn't brought up after that. That's a bit weird, I think this episode was rushed a bit, but I understand development hiccups happen. This probably doesn't affect my "review" too much, but it can make an already short episode feel shorter.
