Telltale Bashing?
I don't know about you all, but, I'm getting sick of posts on here that bash Telltale about their schedule and about how long they take to bring out episodes. I was going through some older posts and I was just shaking my head and I thought about starting a conversation about it. I think some people just don't realise how hard it is for Telltale to try and please everyone (which of course, they can't anyway). All i can say is that Episode 2 will come out when it is ready.

Point of thread ?
What do you think? Read it.
As I said before. Games get delayed it happens. Telltale games are episodic so when delays happen people get pissed.
I don't really bash Telltale. But I think people just complain about the lack of communication to us fans.
Well I can understand that. I just came across a few posts that were really scathing of Telltale. They were probably trolls....
If TT starts gifting their games I'll never ever complain again. But as a paying customer it is my right to and I will when a company can't publish according to their schedule.
But they never gave schedule, they gave an estimate.
Kiwi walking dead is totally right we don't know how hard it is for telltale to release an episode.they are doing their best.
so they just have to say it , instead they say nothing and that when the frustration begins .
They don't say nothing. They give us some sorta update. Better than nothing at all.
I read it and I see no point , and it's not my problem that telltale's trying to please everyone , I just want accurate schedule and more communication , that's all .
but their schedule isn't accurate and they lack connection with their fans , and the best update they gave was the news about the news we're looking for .
Well if you see no point then thats your problem.
Maybe they having some problem and can't predict the exact date for releasing.Telltale have been busy with too many games so give them a break.
Well here's a thread that's most likely going to become a flame war.
The opinionated vs the "LEAVE THEM ALONE" people. You don't see that ANYWHERE on the internet...
" Telltale have been busy with too many games so give them a break "
too many games ? that's nonsense , they're only working on The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among us !
The big maybe at the beginning of this paragraph is exactly the reason that lack of communication is an issue right now.
Wow, you've got some pretty serious problems now TGP95, maybe you should see a doctor or something.
my personal problems doesn't concern you and I didn't ask for your opinion .
Ouch! I was actually trolling the other guy, in point of fact. I got jokes, ya know?
keep your jokes to yourself , please .
AND tales of borderlands and game of thrones and telltale explained that they had some issue in wolf among us ep2 and news are saying that walking dead episode 2 will come sooner than we expecting(maybe two weeks)four games for telltale is too many.
Agree with TWDFan86. Just look at The Wolf Among Us. For around 4 months we waited for episode 2 and we heard barely anything from Telltale in that time just silence.
Was that a joke?
People like you are the reason that so many companies are able to get away with treating customers poorly. You are acting like Telltale is being victimized or something. Telltale Games is a company, and companies NEED criticism, especially when using such shoddy business practices. I am sure that you would be fine with bi-yearly episodes, because you are just SO understanding of the "hardships" faced by the corporation taking our money. We paid for a product with a certain expectation, and if that expectation is not met, we are perfectly within our rights to complain.
Yeah ok, you have a right to complain, granted. But not everyone wants to hear it.
Somebody is on their days ....
How else are we supposed to provide criticism? Do you suggest that we all send angry letters to Telltale? That we flood Telltale support?
Also, if you are so offended by valid complaints, just ignore release date threads, which contain the vast majority of complaints. If you aren't able to handle even passing comments on Telltale's business practices, you will just have to go to a different forum. Telltale has a LOT of problems as a company, as evidenced by even this very forum. You can be damn sure that people are going to make these known.
Hmmm I guess looking back at this thread, I dont think it was a good idea to start it. Now I feel like a fool lol
There is a difference between critique and bashing. The delay wasn't their fault, but we should be able to call out bullshit on some things so they don't make the same mistakes again.
I agree with you totally.
Grrrr, and/or, you tell em IHEARTTWD!
No need to beso harsh
Nobody wants to hear criticism but you know what that's everyone get's better. We make mistakes so we can learn from out mistakes.
So says the person who "doesn't want to hear complaints".
Ok, I admit that was stupid what I said. Can we please just drop it?
Mods, please feel free to delete this thread.
For now.
I bash Telltale and I think it is very justified. They never hold up to their word. They offer absolutely NO communication. Besides the fantastic quality of the game and story, there is quite literally nothing to like about this company. Now I know the sole purpose of telltale is to produce a great game (which they do) but at the same time, there is no game great enough to wait 2 and a half months for an hour of gameplay. Feel free to disagree but Im not sure how you can. If you think it is completely worth waiting 2-3 months with no communication, than I strongly believe you are a little too obsessed with this game.
