Luke or Pete?
What if instead of choosing from Nick or Pete, you had to choose between Luke or Pete? In this scenario, Pete is not bitten and they're both in equal odds, but you just had to choose from who you want to survive while the other one in spite of everything dies.
In my viewpoint I would choose Luke since I'm sensing a brother/sister relationship forming which would be a nice change of pace from Season 1. No offense to Pete, but the whole father figure has been done with Lee before and would be redundant to repeat history.

Yes, agreed. Sorry Uncle Pete but I'm going with Luke. It would be interesting to see how Luke's character would grow if he would stay alive until the final episode. And yes, another father-daughter relationship would feel just too "cliche" and we already have that in Carlos/Sarah.
I'd choose Luke as well. My main reason being that he seems to be nicer, and also seems like he'd be one to make more humane decisions, whereas Pete seems like he'd make humane decisions as well, but would also make decisions similar to some of Kenny's, like shooting the girl in E3. I could see Clementine and Pete buttign heads over this if it ever came up, but Luke and Clem seem like they'd be on the same page(the choices I'd make anyway). I like both the characters almost equally, and it's just this marginal difference.
I'm going to go with Luke on this one. Luke and Clem's relationship seems like they would make a good tag team. Instead of Uncle Pete taking care of Clem like a daughter, Luke and Clem can work together as a team which I prefer more than always having to follow orders around like I'm Pete's daughter. I want Luke and Clem to learn from each others mistakes and work on them together rather than Clem being yelled at by Pete when she makes a mistake. Have you seen the way Pete treats Nick? He gave Nick hell for making a mistake and I don't want him yelling at my Clementine.
I would choose Pete if only because Luke seemed a little bit snappy. when he noticed Clem had a bite he just dropped her, and I think he might have just ran if Pete hadn't been there. plus Pete seemed like he had survival experience, knew how to shoo t a gun(hunting) and kept his finger off the trigger. the fact that Luke seems pretty nice is good and all, but I'm not sure I could trust him with keeping Clem alive. plus Pete already trusts clem("at some point you guys have to start trusting me" "I already do")
Pete over anyone IF he wasnt bitten; pretty solid guy so far
I would choose Luke. He seems to have bonded pretty well with Clem.
